Training a pilot from ab initio (zero experience) to a professional level in 18 months is an industry-standard timeline for intensive, full-time "Integrated" programs.
Months 1–6: Ground School & PPL. Focused on theoretical knowledge (Aerodynamics, Meteorology, Air Law) and earning the Private Pilot License (PPL).
Months 7–10: Instrument Rating (IR). Training to fly solely by reference to instruments, which is essential for professional operations in all weather conditions.
Months 11–18: Commercial Pilot License (CPL) & Multi-Engine (ME). Advanced maneuvers and cross-country flying to meet the minimum 200–250 flight hours.
