WELCOME TO THE UDEMBA GROUP
The Udemba Group Limited (TUG) takes its roots from a family tradition of entrepreneurship and leadership which started with Pa Udemba Onyenuforo, the patriarch of the Udemba family who in 1943 set up a road transport business which later became one of the pioneers in the road transport business in the South Eastern part of Nigeria. Uzo Udemba, shortly after graduating
with Bachelors' degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nigeria Nsukka, set up his own business fifty years afterwards in 1993. The Udemba Group now includes companies with strong focus in Engineering, Media & Entertainment, Oil and Gas and the development of Smart Cities. Once every three years, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, TUG funds the “Preserving the Earth International Seminar" an international workshop that brings together, some of the world's leading Engineering technology companies and construction experts to dialogue with their counterparts and other stakeholders in the Nigerian construction industry on recent developments in Technology, Engineering, Construction and the Environment. It is TUG’s modest contribution towards a total transformation of the Nigerian construction industry. TUG is delighted that some of the ideas generated in these workshops have helped to enrich the knowledge of consulting Engineers, contractors and policy makers in the infrastructure sector
