In this dynamic role, you are responsible for planning, coordinating and supporting offshore personnel for a dedicated group of clients and projects. Acting as the link between offshore professionals, clients and colleagues, you help ensure offshore operations run safely, efficiently and in compliance with international regulations.

From coordinating crew changes and arranging travel to maintaining close contact with clients and offshore personnel around the world, no two projects are exactly the same. Working in an international environment, you will play an important role in keeping offshore operations running smoothly.

Royal Wagenborg has reached an agreement with WALLENIUS SOL for the sale of the RoRo vessels Bothniaborg and Balticborg, including a long-term Contract of Affreightment with Smurfit Westrock in Piteå, Sweden. 🇸🇪

For more than two decades, these vessels have been at the heart of a strong partnership, providing a reliable service in the Baltic region and connecting key ports across Northern Europe. 🌊⚓

This transaction marks an important step in Wagenborg’s continued focus on its core activities in ice-class general cargo shipping, while ensuring a strong future for both vessels with a company fully dedicated to RoRo operations. 📦🚢

🎉 125 years of craftsmanship, pride, and connection. 🎉

Last night, our Royal Niestern Sander shipyard was all about one special milestone: the 125th anniversary. With food trucks, music, great company, and plenty of good cheer, we made this an unforgettable evening with our colleagues — because without our people, there is no shipyard!

Mayor Ben Visser of Eemsdelta opened the celebration. Wagenborg CEO Egbert Vuursteen then took the floor and reflected on the bond between Wagenborg and Niestern Sander. That bond goes all the way back to 1888, when Egbert Wagenborg and Berend Niestern met and decided to do business together. On the banks of the Winschoterdiep, Berend built the wooden, seagoing tjalk De Broedertrouw — the very ship that launched the Wagenborg family's life as entrepreneurs. It's a bond that has always remained, because a shipyard can't do without a shipowner, and a shipowner can't do without a shipyard.

Another wonderful moment was the handover of the first two photo books created especially for this anniversary. Director Fokke Jan Botke presented them to Harm Oolders — who, with nearly 48 years of service, is our longest-serving colleague — and to Egbert Vuursteen. Every other colleague took a copy home too.

To all colleagues at Niestern Sander: thank you for your dedication, and congratulations on this remarkable milestone. Here's to building the next 125 years together. 🚢
