Two exceptional rums. Two remarkable ages. One unforgettable journey at sea.

After years of ageing in La Palma, The King and The Queen embarked on a very special final chapter aboard our engineless sailing vessel Tres Hombres!

For several months, they travelled across the Atlantic, exposed to the rhythm of the sea, the movement of the ship and the ever-changing conditions of the voyage 🌊

Now, their journey is complete.

And the result? 2 truly unique Tres Hombres Rum Captain’s Choice editions, finally ready to be discovered:

- The King (30 years old)
- The Queen (23 years old)

After years of close collaboration with our friends from , we are very happy to see the LUN II completing her second voyage for Fairtransport! 🌊

Her captain, François Mangin, is no stranger to Fairtransport. François previously served as captain of our flagship Tres Hombres, before officially taking the helm of the Lun II.

After a successful whisky voyage last year between Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands, he has now taken LUN II on a new journey — this time carrying a delicious cargo of port wine from Portugal to Denmark. 🍷

This voyage is a collaboration between Fairtransport, our Danish partners .dk and our joint client — a partnership that brings together a shared commitment to sustainable transport by sail.

It is another great example of the strong and longstanding partnership between Fairtransport and Les Frères de la Côte, and we look forward to many more sustainable voyages together in the years ahead! ⚓️

And the story doesn’t end here: in just a few days, LUN II will set sail for Portugal once again to bring another shipment of port wine back to Denmark. Stay tuned for more updates! 😎

Jutterhavendagen in Den Helder!

This weekend we participated in 2 days of festivities in the home port of our ship Tres Hombres and our Fairtransport office, of course we couldn’t miss that 🥳

It was amazing to share our story with many tourists and also some locals who surprisingly didn’t know about the Tres Hombres yet, but will surely keep an eye out now when she comes back in September!

⛵ Every Tres Hombres voyage creates stories. Not only for the crew on board, but also for the people waiting ashore…

While the ship is currently sailing towards Northern Spain, we’re taking a moment to look back at a special moment from the last winter voyage.

This time, the story doesn’t come from a trainee or a crew member. Instead, it’s told by the friends of one of our trainees, who travelled all the way to the Azores just to welcome the ship in the harbour of Horta. They even gave themselves a fitting name: **Tres Turistas waiting for the Tres Hombres!** 🌊

We love seeing how this ship brings people together. Whether you’re on board or waiting in the harbour, there’s something magical about watching an engineless cargo ship appear on the horizon after weeks at sea.

Tall Ships Races Harlingen 2026!

As Tres Hombres is soon arriving in Gudhjem, Denmark, our office crew is heading to Friesland to attend the festival of the Tall Ships Races in Harlingen! Will we see you there? 😎⛵

From July 3rd to July 6th, you can find us at the seaside markt (on the square of the new Willemshaven, near the harbor brewery Het Brouwdok).

🇩🇰 Unloading day in Copenhagen!

⚓ Thanks to this amazing crew, lots of bottles of natural wine have been unloaded again for our partners Rosforth&Rosforth this year. Soon, Tres Hombres will be on her way to Gudhjem to unload the rest of the cargo for .

What happens when you cross the English Channel with an engineless cargo ship with favourable winds? ⛵ You arrive in Copenhagen more than a week ahead of schedule!

In just 12 days, Tres Hombres sailed from La Rochelle to Copenhagen and arrived a week ahead of schedule!

Now it’s time for a crew change, welcoming new trainees on board, unloading the wine, and enjoying some well-deserved time in port.

Any guesses where the next stop will be? 👀
