We deliver throughout Norway on a weekly basis with more than 20 trucks, all tracked, dispatched, and directed by us. As a professional logistics service provider, DKJ Transport provides road transport services throughout Europe. When we are not delivering directly on-trailer, we work together with our trusted Norwegian agents and partners. From small delivery vans to big trucks capable of transporting exceptional loads. A round trip to Gran Canaria, fully loaded in both directions. Our driver delivered one load and collected the next for the return journey.

Cable reels and equipment off, and a long ship component and small container back on. After a change of cargo at the shipyard, it was time for the return journey.

Two different loads with a single trip. That's what we call efficient transport!

A large, oversized tank sits on the trailer, yet it remains lower than the cab. Perfect demonstration of the advantage of our semi-low loader trailers.

The loading deck is lower than that of a standard semi-trailer, leaving more vertical clearance for the load. This makes this type of trailer ideal for items like tanks and machinery that would easily exceed height limits on a higher deck.

At DKJ Transport, we have multiple semi-low loaders in our fleet. This allows us to match the trailer to the load's dimensions and weight, keeping the total transport height as low as possible.

1,000 kilometers in Norway is not the same as 1,000 kilometers in the Netherlands.

In the Netherlands, 1,000 kilometers is mostly a matter of driving time. In Norway, the route itself plays a much bigger role. Fjords, mountain roads, tunnels and ferry crossings determine how those kilometers are driven. Add changing weather conditions, and a route that looks straightforward on the map can take considerably more planning.

Our drivers know these routes. They know which ferry to catch, where the slower sections are and why the shortest route on Google Maps isn’t necessarily the route you want to take with a fully loaded truck.

That’s simply part of driving to Norway. And something we deal with every week.

When your regular parcel service says no… our drivers step in.

Some packages simply don’t fit in the delivery van. Or through the front door. Or even a pick-up point at your local supermarket, for that matter.

That’s when you call DKJ Transport.

This time, our drivers had two rather sizeable ‘packages’ to deliver. Two trucks, two crates and fortunately no need to find the nearest pick-up point in the middle of the city.

Too big for the parcel service, DKJ Transport makes it happen.

When the load gets longer, the driver makes the difference.

Extra-long transport comes with its own set of challenges. More meters behind the truck means thinking further ahead, anticipating traffic and knowing exactly how your combination moves on the road.

That’s why our drivers are regularly called in for these types of long-load ABUS transports.

This time, the load consisted of two impressive ABUS cranes heading towards Trondheim, Norway. With impressive lifting capacities of 12.5 and 15 tonnes they are even capable of lifting two of the DAF trucks transporting them.

Long loads that require experience behind the wheel from departure to destination. And that’s exactly where our drivers come in. Extra long load. Extra long experience. We Fix.

Big, heavy, and anything but standard. Exceptional transport begins where standard trailer transport ends. Loads where size, weight, and dimensions are just a little different, and where a normal trailer simply doesn't do the trick.

Serious loads require a serious transport partner. One with the right equipment and the knowledge to get shipments like these to their destination, even under time pressure.

Four trailers heading towards one destination. Some journeys simply need a little more road.

For this transport, four of our tautliner trailers left Dordrecht together, heading towards Hammerfest. Seeing a convoy like this make its way across the road is not something you see every day.

Thanks to our fleet, the right preparations from our team in the office and the flexibility of our drivers, we were able to get this transport on the road quickly. Everything was time-bound and had to be delivered on time for an oil and gas project. Mission accomplished!

When it comes to exceptional transport, sometimes just a truck with its trailers isn’t enough. Recently, our driver Erik took on an exceptional challenge, transporting a load measuring an impressive 4.8 meters wide.

Ater the pick-up in Vlissingen the cargo went off to Fredrikstad, Norway. The transport was carefully prepared so we could eliminate most of the hiccups that might appear along the trip.

With professional guidance throughout the journey, Erik safely delivered the load to its final destination where it was taken on board of a large ship. What a great image this is.

It’s experience that makes the difference.
