Four trailers heading towards one destination. Some journeys simply need a little more road.

For this transport, four of our tautliner trailers left Dordrecht together, heading towards Hammerfest. Seeing a convoy like this make its way across the road is not something you see every day.

Thanks to our fleet, the right preparations from our team in the office and the flexibility of our drivers, we were able to get this transport on the road quickly. Everything was time-bound and had to be delivered on time for an oil and gas project. Mission accomplished!

When it comes to exceptional transport, sometimes just a truck with its trailers isn’t enough. Recently, our driver Erik took on an exceptional challenge, transporting a load measuring an impressive 4.8 meters wide.

Ater the pick-up in Vlissingen the cargo went off to Fredrikstad, Norway. The transport was carefully prepared so we could eliminate most of the hiccups that might appear along the trip.

With professional guidance throughout the journey, Erik safely delivered the load to its final destination where it was taken on board of a large ship. What a great image this is.

It’s experience that makes the difference.

Sun, blue sky, our beautiful combination and an impressive shovel to complement the combination. While many people are enjoying their well-deserved summer break, our team continues to keep exceptional transports moving across Europe.

Driver Erik completed another impressive journey, transporting a large shovel from Moss, Norway, to Dordrecht, the Netherlands, on our semi-low loader.

From Norway to the Netherlands, DKJ Transport continues to provide reliable transport solutions, even during the summer season. Some transports simply cannot wait for the holidays.

Now that the summer holidays have officially started throughout the Netherlands, for most people it is time to enjoy their time off. Not if our drivers have anything to say about it. Fortunately, some transports automatically put you in the summer mood.

This time, our driver Guido departed from Assen heading to Plovdiv, Bulgaria with a load of containers behind our DAF truck. A destination where the palm trees immediately create a summery scene.

Although DKJ Transport is primarily known for specialized and exceptional transport, we also regularly handle container transport. Thanks to our versatile fleet and the right resources, we can offer the right solution for these transports as well.

From container transport to complex project cargo, we ensure that every load arrives safely and on schedule at its destination. Even during the holidays.

Drivers Stijn and Erik had the pleasure of transporting several aerial work platforms throughout the Netherlands. Weighing 26 tons each and of considerable size, this was the perfect job for our semi-low loaders, which are perfectly suitable for transporting large and heavy machines.

From 15 September 2026, Norway will introduce Digitoll. A new digital customs process for all cross-border shipments.

This change means that shipment data must be submitted digitally before arrival at the Norwegian border, replacing parts of the traditional, paper-based customs handling.

This may sound like a significant operational change. In practice, it is mainly a shift towards more digital and pre-planned customs processing.

As the specialist in transports to and from Norway, we are currently in the process of preparing for this transition. In the coming period, we will ensure that all processes, data flows and documentation requirements are correctly aligned with the new Digitoll system.

In January, extreme polar cold dominated northern Norway, and national cold records were even broken, with the most extreme being -41.5 °C. Currently, we are driving in Norway with temperatures heading towards 30 degrees.

Norway has become a land of extremes, and that makes it a challenging country to drive in. One moment we are driving in the south, where it is hot and dry, and the next we are above the Arctic Circle in the far north, where it is wet and cool.

Transport to and from Norway never gets old.

It is nice to see our combination among the grandeur of this impressive construction. A sight that never gets old. Impressive megastructures within the offshore we support on a regular basis.
