Dear Guests,
It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of our decision to discontinue our registration weekends for day trips. Unfortunately, the number of participants is often so low that we regularly have to cancel tours because the costs simply exceed the revenue.
We ourselves always greatly enjoyed the tours, but offering them, i.e., the sales aspect, was a burden for us as non-commercial individuals. Additionally, we missed many weekends because they were fixed until shortly beforehand.
Last weekend was therefore the last weekend in the old format, but also the first weekend in the new format.
What is the new format?
1. Open Weekend Trips (Tagalong Tours):
From now on, we will announce on our website and page when we ourselves will be undertaking an open weekend trip. "Open" means that you can join us on a not fully prepared tagalong tour. The price will be announced later.
The concept is as follows: We go away for a weekend, somewhere in Europe. I plan the routes, the campsites or hotels for us. If you would like to come along, send us an email, and we will discuss together how you would like to arrange your accommodation and evening program.
Accommodation and the evening program are what we choose. You can do this as well, but you can also make your own choices for this part.
During the day, we leisurely make our way and really go exploring an area. So no fixed pre-planned routes, no reserved lunch spot, but we truly drive by chance. Pure adventure!
On Fridays or earlier, we meet at the "starting point," and the next day we set off. On Sundays or later, we arrive at the destination and say goodbye until next time.
Along the way, we hopefully try to drive and visit many beautiful routes and sights.
2. Organized Weekends for Groups:
Upon request, we can organize a weekend for groups of three to six cars. We call this the day program. The evening program and accommodation are at your own expense and according to your wishes. However, we can make suggestions and/or assist with the organization of catering and accommodation.
The dates are largely flexible, provided they are not booked otherwise.
Price, area, and further details upon consultation with the group leader. He or she decides for the group.
3. Day Programs for Travel Organizations:
For travel organizations such as Alper Tours or similar agencies, we can take on the day program in the Netherlands.
4. Camper Tours:
We recently acquired a camper van equipped for overland travel and can therefore use it to show fellow camper enthusiasts the beautiful Netherlands.
Similar to the tagalong tours, this is possible from one camper, with a maximum of four campers.
We are primarily thinking of vans that can also handle normal sandy and forest roads.

The last two day trips of this year remain open for registration:
The Winter Tour on November 15, 2025, in Limburg. Registrations have already been received for this, so this tour will take place.
The Farewell Tour on December 13, 2025. This tour will definitely take place. This is also a good opportunity to discuss with us during a tour whether you would like to participate in the new concept, or if you have any comments or ideas to add.
We thank everyone who has traveled with us. So many beautiful memories have been etched into our minds, and we cherish them greatly.
It was an adventure; it didn't turn out as we had hoped, but we will continue to strive to let everyone discover our beautiful Netherlands wherever possible.
