Three precious travellers, one new adventure! 🐾✈️🇦🇷

Meet Fettie the cat and dogs Leo & Sam, who travelled from Curaçao to Amsterdam with their parents, Bea and Benjamin Brest, on 25 September. ❤️

Before continuing to Argentina, the trio enjoyed a relaxing stay at Dierenhotel Pocahondas and Kattenhotel Tante Betje. A little time to rest, plenty of loving care and a comfortable place to stay between flights — a big thank you to both teams for looking after them so well! 🐶🐱

Meanwhile, our Eagle Freight team took care of the preparations and paperwork for the next stage of their journey. On 6 October, Fettie, Leo & Sam boarded their KLM Royal Dutch Airlines flight to Buenos Aires. All flights on their journey were operated by KLM. ✈️

Upon arrival at Ezeiza Airport, Animates Travel handled their import clearance, helping them take the final steps towards their new home.

Bea and Benjamin first trusted us with their pets’ travels back in 2014. Being part of their family’s next adventure, all these years later, means so much to us. Thank you for your continued trust and your wonderful review! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wishing the whole family a happy new chapter in Argentina! 🏡🐾

From Riga to Melbourne: Evie & Pirlo’s special journey 🐾✈️

With limited travel options for pets heading to Australia from Lithuania and Latvia, their journey took careful planning and teamwork.

All preparations were completed in Latvia in collaboration with Airkargo and Dogtainers Pet Transport. AirKargo then arranged their flight from Riga to Amsterdam with airBaltic. 🇱🇻 🇳🇱

In Amsterdam, our Eagle Freight team collected Evie & Pirlo from FPAS and took them to Dierenhotel Pocahondas for an overnight stay. The following morning, we completed the final preparations before sending them onwards via Doha to Melbourne, on behalf of Dogtainers. 🇦🇺

On arrival in Australia, they will spend 10 days in quarantine before being reunited with their family. ❤️

Thank you to AirKargo and Dogtainers for the wonderful collaboration, and to Ruta for her lovely five-star review:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“We just knew that our precious pups were in very good hands!”

Wishing Evie & Pirlo and their family a wonderful new chapter together in Australia! 🐶❤️

Did you know that at Eagle Freight, we handle horse imports and exports almost every day? 🐴✈️

On Thursday evening, 24 September, five horses arrived at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol from Kuala Lumpur with Malaysia Airlines. This was a special shipment, as their owners had waited a long time for departure due to earlier restrictions and a lengthy approval process.

Our partner Bev Whittel at Equestrian Support Services handled the export arrangements in Malaysia. Eagle Freight helped obtain approval for the shipment to the Netherlands and handled customs clearance following the NVWA veterinary inspection, as well as coordinating onward transport.

First Point Animal Services collected, stabled and cared for the horses after arrival. Two former racehorses then travelled directly to their retirement in the UK with John Parker International, in a dedicated truck exclusively for them.

The remaining three horses spent one or two nights at Horse Hotel Holland bv, resting and stretching their legs before they continued on dedicated transport by the same company: one horse to Belgium and two to the Czech Republic.

A great example of the coordination behind every horse shipment—from export documentation and air freight to veterinary inspections, rest stops and onward transport.

It also shows the value of our international network: Eagle Freight and Equestrian Support Services are both members of GEM Pet Network, IPATA & ATA.

We’re proud to have helped these five horses reach their next destination alongside all our partners. Take a look at their journey below! 🎥

Amsterdam ➡️ Frankfurt ➡️ Bogotá ➡️ Lima ➡️ Asunción 🇳🇱🇩🇪🇨🇴🇵🇪🇵🇾

When plans changed, we kept moving. 💪✈️🐾

Thanks to incredible teamwork, Mufasa the Pocket Bully made it safely home to his family in Paraguay. Another challenging relocation successfully completed by Mika and the Eagle Freight team! 🧡

🐾 From Amsterdam to Paraguay — Mufasa made it home! 🇳🇱✈️🇵🇾

This was certainly not the easiest relocation, but at Eagle Freight, we don’t give up when things get complicated. We find a way. 💪

Our colleague Mika coordinated the entire journey of Mufasa, a beautiful Pocket Bully, from the Netherlands to his family in Paraguay.

🚐 RDS transported Mufasa by road to Frankfurt, including an overnight hotel stay together with her dedicated driver.

✈️ At Frankfurt Airport, Pets By Pro assisted with check-in at the Animal Lounge for her Lufthansa flight to Bogotá.

🐾 Upon arrival, Angélica from Luanpets arranged Mufasa’s import clearance. When his onward cargo flight was full and he could no longer travel as planned, she stepped in personally. Angélica accompanied Mufasa on a LATAM Airlines passenger flight via Lima to Asunción.

❤️ There, she was finally able to hand Mufasa over to her waiting family in person.

A challenging journey with unexpected changes, teamwork across several countries and one very special passenger at the centre of it all.

A huge thank-you to RDS, Pets by Pro, Luan Pets and Angélica for helping us bring Mufasa safely home — and well done, Mika, for never giving up! 🧡
