🇬🇧 - 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 🚛
Recently, we delivered this 3-axle, 6-metre extendable, self-tracking semi low loader to Roels Transport in Lichtervelde (Belgium).

Including a full diesel tank and all the tools required for daily operations, the combination has a tare weight of less than 18 tonnes. This leaves an impressive payload capacity, while still remaining within the limits for standard transport. With loads of up to 26.5 tonnes, the combination fully complies with Belgium’s maximum permitted gross vehicle weight of 44 tonnes.

🇳🇱 - 𝗟𝗶𝗰𝗵𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗴𝗲𝘄𝗶𝗰𝗵𝘁, 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 🚛
Onlangs leverden we deze 3-assige naloopgestuurde semi dieplader, die 6 meter kan uitschuiven, af aan Roels Transport uit Lichtervelde (België).

De combinatie heeft, inclusief volle dieseltank en alle dagelijks benodigde gereedschappen, een leeggewicht van minder dan 18 ton. Dat betekent dat er een prachtig netto laadvermogen overblijft zonder in het “uitzonderlijk” terecht te komen.
Met ladingen tot 26,5T voldoet de combinatie perfect aan het in België geldende maximale totaal gewicht van 44T.

If you frequently transport very high loads, it is extremely advantageous to have a semi with the lowest possible neck height.

That is why Van Grinsven BV has a 4-axle, 2,750 mm wide SL semi low loader with a coupling height of 1,015 mm and a neck height of just 120 mm in its fleet. This means that the difference in loading height between the loading floor and the neck is only 255 mm!

The semi can be extended three times, giving a total length of 37,715 mm, while remaining within the legal dimensions when fully retracted.

Als je veelvuldig met hele hoge ladingen rijdt, is het van enorm voordeel als de nek van de oplegger zo laag mogelijk is.

Daarom heeft Van Grinsven BV een 4-assige, 2.750 mm brede SL semi dieplader met een koppelingshoogte van 1.015 mm en een nekhoogte van 120 mm in de vloot. Het verschil in laadhoogte tussen de laadvloer en de nek is hiermee maar 255 mm!

De oplegger is drie keer uitschuifbaar, waardoor een totale lengte van 37.715 mm mogelijk is, terwijl de oplegger ingeschoven binnen de wettelijke maat blijft.

A great example of our agri-bed with reversible mattresses in use: this 2-axle Broshuis low loader from AMAZONE, loaded with an AMAZONE Pantera 4504 self-propelled sprayer.

By reversing not only the supports, but also the mattresses, wheel recesses are created, reducing the loading height of the machine as much as possible. 💪

Een mooi voorbeeld van ons agri-bed met omkeerbare matrassen in de praktijk: deze 2-assige Broshuis dieplader van AMAZONE, beladen met een AMAZONE Pantera 4504 zelfrijdende veldspuit.

Door niet alleen de steunen, maar ook de matrassen om te keren, ontstaan er wielkuilen, waardoor de laadhoogte van de machine maximaal wordt gereduceerd. 💪

Bott Abschleppdienst Krandienst has expanded its fleet with two new 6-axle SL semi low loaders from Broshuis. In 2024, Bott already took delivery of a 3+7 PL2 semi low loader, which has been in intensive use ever since. Following their positive experience with this trailer, we looked together at the right solution for the transport of crane components and ballast. For these operations, Bott opted for our SL axle with independent wheel suspension and 12-tonne axle capacity.

We thank Bott Abschleppdienst for choosing Broshuis again and wish them many successful transports and safe kilometres with their new trailers! 🤝

In 2024 nam Bott al een 3+7 PL2 semi dieplader in gebruik, die sindsdien volop wordt ingezet. Na de goede ervaringen met deze oplegger hebben we samen gekeken naar de juiste oplossing voor het transport van kraandelen en ballast. Voor deze werkzaamheden koos Bott voor onze SL-as met onafhankelijke wielophanging en 12 ton aslast.

Today we delivered a new 3+5 dolly low loader combination to AKM Autokranvermietung München GmbH, another great addition to our long-standing cooperation.

The combination is equipped with an additional spacer, which can be installed instead of the low loader bed. This allows the combination to also be used as a semi low loader. This gives AKM even greater flexibility for a wide range of heavy transport operations, perfectly matching their philosophy.

De combinatie is voorzien van een extra spacer, die in plaats van het dieplader bed kan worden gemonteerd. Hierdoor kan de combinatie ook als semi worden ingezet. Zo beschikt AKM over nog meer flexibiliteit voor uiteenlopende zwaartransportwerkzaamheden, wat perfect aansluit bij hun filosofie.
