Friday 5th of April 2013 we had the privilege of visiting one of the newest ships: the Norwegian Breakaway, part of the fleet of our new placement company the Norwegian Cruise Lines. After her successful sea trials the Breakaway is in Bremerhaven to finalize the ship. The Breakaway can host 4100 passengers and needs over 1500 crewmember to offer her unique service. All entertainment is set to special target a typical New Yorker. By offering state of the art cabins with a beautiful view on the balcony, an Ice Bar, a New York specialized meatball restaurant, a Brazilian and American Steakhouse, French and Italian Restaurant, a Jazz Blues Café, a dance club, a comedian club and on board Broadway shows. The ship offers a real Norwegian Experience. Norwegian Cruise Line for years the third largest player in the Cruise Industry. Our ex- student Frits van der Werff (Corporate Manager, Restaurant & Beverage Operations) has provided us with a great tour. This ship is supposed to set sail within 21 days. We are looking forward to having a great cooperation with Norwegian Cruise Line. This visit has shown us the world of opportunity in Cruising 2013.
