When doing a van build the electrical system is always one of the biggest hurdles during the design process. You need to figure out your planned daily usage of power and how to regain that back through solar, battery to battery charging, shore power or a second alternator. Let us know if you need any help with design, parts or building of your electrical system.

When it’s cold out a diesel heater can keep you warm and dry. At Pacific Vans we install Webasto or Espar diesel heaters in all of our builds. Diesel heaters produce a dry heat so it’s perfect for cold wet days and nights. The heaters are very efficient burning only 1 gal/3.8lt of fuel for 22 hrs of operation. We install the heaters directly to your Sprinter vans fuel tank for ease of use and plenty of fuel for heating. By using the auxiliary connection with a higher pickup point you will never run out of fuel to get out of your camp spot. We can also install an optional high altitude kit to use the heater above 10,000ft/3000m perfect for skiing, snowboarding, climbing or other mountain activities.

Shop in Leeuwarden is open and we’re looking for clients. We use Dometic S4 windows in all our builds. These are made with two panes of acrylic that make these insulated and can be used at high altitude making them great for skiing, mountain climbing and other high altitude activities. The built in bug guards keeps the bugs out and fresh air coming in for cooking indoors in when it’s cold out. Awning style opening allow for windows to be open when it’s raining and can even be locked secure with it slightly vented when away. The built in shades keep the light out and lets you sleep in.
