We had the pleasure of transporting this magnificent Princess V50 MK2. First we've send a colleague to precisely measure the boat. This had to be done, this yacht exceeds the standard by a lot! After positive out come, we've applied for the road permits. These we're ready in time and the transport from Northern-Germany to the Adriatic could start. IPS-pods on the back of the trailer, saves about 35cm in height when mounted.

Another challenging houseboat transport successfully completed by Van de Wetering Transport.

This 15-metre-long and 5.99-metre-wide houseboat was transported from Ripstaal in Oss to a free quay in Alphen aan den Rijn.

For this project, we used a Scania 6x4 with 660 hp, combined with one of our hydraulically extendable and widening Nooteboom trailers.

A key part of this transport was the loading process: the houseboat was loaded entirely without the use of a crane.

The houseboat was initially positioned on pallets, allowing us to drive the trailer underneath. Using the trailer’s hydraulic system, we then carefully positioned and supported the houseboat with blocks, removed the pallets and lowered the construction step by step to achieve the required transport height.

Precision was essential. The trailer had to be widened to an internal width of just 2.10 metres to fit underneath the houseboat’s 2.00-metre-wide central structure, while the internal distance between the outer support beams measured 3.75 metres.

By combining specialised equipment with the right preparation, we were able to create a safe and efficient loading solution without requiring any external lifting equipment.

Van de Wetering Boat & Special Transport also carried out the complete route survey, arranged all necessary transport permits, service team & deployed several es**rt-cars for the journey from Oss to Alphen aan den Rijn.

Well well, talking about some busy last days.. Peak seasons at his best.

From open speedboats, sailing yachts, tanks, survey boats, helicopters, day cruisers, airport tunnels and more! 😆

It will be like this for a while, but we don’t mind. All needed equipment, permits & es**rts and skilled personnel are arranged deployed by our own organisation.
