For this operation, Oudkerk Logistics and Oudkerk Agencies worked together seamlessly.
Oudkerk Logistics in Vlissingen arranged the transport of the two large platforms from Vlissingen to the Van der Vlist Transportgroep terminal in the Port of Moerdijk. There, the coaster chartered by Oudkerk Logistics Rotterdam, was already waiting to be loaded.
Oudkerk Logistics also ensured that the platforms and the four grommets, which were already in Moerdijk, were loaded on board the MV Rimini of ERA Chartering, with Bode Freight Protection taking care of the lashing of the cargo.
This vessel โ selected by our technical team โ proved to be the perfect fit for cargo of this scale, carrying platforms measuring approximately 10 x 5 metres and weighing 8,500 and 9,600 kilograms, alongside the four grommets of 71 tonnes each.
After completion of the loading operation, the coaster set course for Stord and Haugesund in Norway, where the cargo was handed over to Heerema Marine Contractors.
