Солідарність світу з українськими працівниками морської галузі

Попри війну, в Україні моряки, докери та працівники морського транспорту щодня продовжують працювати під постійною загрозою обстрілів і атак, ризикуючи власним життям заради роботи морської галузі та стабільності світового судноплавства. Від початку повномасштабного вторгнення росія пошкодила понад 900 об’єктів портової інфраструктури України, а сотні працівників галузі постраждали через війну.

З перших днів повномасштабної війни ПРМТУ привертає увагу міжнародної спільноти до умов, у яких сьогодні працюють українські моряки, портовики та працівники морського транспорту. Голос української морської спільноти звучить на міжнародних конференціях, у профспілкових структурах, під час зустрічей із судновласниками, соціальними партнерами та міжнародними організаціями.

Завдяки міжнародній солідарності та підтримці партнерів вдається не лише зберігати увагу світу до України, а й реалізовувати благодійні, соціальні та освітні проєкти для спілчан і їхніх родин. Водночас не втрачаємо зв’язок із тими, хто перебуває далеко від рідної країни, що вже п'ятий рік охоплена війною.

Під час нещодавнього засідання Комітету справедливої практики ITF у Rotterdam профспілки моряків і докерів з усього світу висловили солідарну підтримку українським працівникам морської галузі, відзначивши їхню мужність, стійкість і відданість професії в умовах війни.

ПРМТУ і надалі робитиме все можливе, щоб голос українських моряків і докерів залишався почутим у світі, а міжнародна підтримка України — сильною та єдиною.

🚨 Emergency at Sea – LMZ Pluto | Strong cooperation saves lives 🚨

On March 24, 2026, a serious emergency unfolded at sea when the bulk carrier LMZ Pluto encountered severe weather conditions in the Norwegian Sea, west of Rørvik. Due to engine failure and loss of propulsion, the vessel became unmanageable, prompting the captain to issue a Mayday and request evacuation.

🚁 Thanks to a large-scale rescue operation led by the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) Southern Norway, the entire crew was safely evacuated. Two SAR helicopters were deployed, and all seafarers were airlifted from the vessel and brought ashore in Værnes without any serious injuries.

👉 What makes this incident even more significant:
The crew had already contacted an ITF inspector in the Netherlands earlier, reporting serious issues on board and confirming that they had sent a distress message. At that time, no immediate action was taken.

After and the team were alerted, the situation was escalated, which ultimately led to action being taken and the successful rescue operation.

💪 This once again highlights the importance of international cooperation within the ITF. Through quick coordination and cross-border communication, we were able to contribute to a safe outcome for the crew.

🙏 A big thank you and great respect to the Norwegian rescue teams for their bravery and professionalism under extreme conditions.
