Two runs, one mission! ⚡

In two separate moves, we handled the full inland delivery of eight 240-tonne transformers at a HVDC Converter Station in Emsland, Germany. Same route, same standard - zero margin for error.

Here's what our team handled on the ground:
🚢 offloading from barge at a private quay
🏗️ crane lift onto SPMT for overland movement
🛣️ 1.5 km transfer to the job site
🔩 precision setting onto foundation beds

No two assignments are the same but the standard never changes.

📸 Southern Italy, mountains meeting the sea - not a bad place to start!

We recently moved three transformers, 278 tonnes each, from the south of Italy to Thuringia and Brandenburg.
Each unit left by girder bridge to the port, then split onto two separate heavylift vessels - one to Rotterdam, one to Hamburg - before continuing by river barge and finally rail to their respective sites.
No matter if sea, river, rail or road - we deliver. 💙

The "Adamów" project wins an award in the Transport Giants competition 🏆

Fracht Group Poland has been awarded in the Project Cargo Forwarding category for its logistics project supporting the construction of a 600 MW combined cycle power plant in Adamów — one of the most important investments related to the energy transition in Poland.

The turnkey project has been awarded to a consortium comprising Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG, Siemens Energy and Metlen Energy & Metals.

This award is of particular significance to us, as it relates to a project in which logistics was one of the cornerstones of the entire investment.

As part of the project, together with Fracht FWO Germany, we were responsible for designing and implementing the entire supply chain for key technological components.

These operations involved the transport of components weighing hundreds of tonnes, sea deliveries to Port of Gdansk Authority, complex overland logistics and the precise positioning of equipment on the construction site. Each stage required months of planning, route analysis and close cooperation with project partners.

“Adamów” is an example of a project where logistics does not operate in the background. The continuity of the schedule and the operational safety of the entire undertaking depend on the quality of its preparation.

We would like to thank our clients, all partners and teams involved in the project. The “Gigants of Transport” award from Ogólnopolskie Stowarzyszenie Pracodawców Transportu Nienormatywnego is an important recognition of Fracht Group expertise in project logistics for the energy sector.

🚚⚡️ Global heavy transport complete: 6 transformers delivered from Germany to the USA! 🌍

What a powerful start to our channel!
We’re excited to share a recap of one of our most remarkable project shipments: the transport of six high-value transformers from Regensburg (Germany) to Garden City, Kansas (USA) - a 60-day journey across continents, modes and teams.
Each transformer plays a key role in energy distribution by lowering high-voltage power from plants to usable levels. With a combined cargo weight of 635 freight tons, this shipment was anything but ordinary.

📍 Transport Route Overview:
Germany → inland trucking & barge transport → Zeebrugge Port → ocean freight to Galveston → rail transport → final delivery in Kansas (USA)

⏱ Total Transit Time: 60 days
• 13 days truck + inland barge
• 17 days sea freight
• 17 days port handling in Galveston incl. rail loading
• 13 days rail transport
