💡 Employee spotlight: Guus’ growth in Business Process Management
“If you enjoy something, you can learn a lot.” That mindset has shaped Guus’ journey since he joined Ewals Cargo Care in 2019 as a management trainee, quickly stepping into an international role and embracing the challenge.

With a passion for analyzing and improving processes, he grew into a key player within a complex ERP environment, supporting colleagues across teams and borders. “It was sometimes hectic, but never boring,” - he says.

Today, Guus combines project management with technical responsibilities while leading a small team. Continuous development remains central: “If you’re motivated, ECC gives you every opportunity to grow.”

Last Friday, we joined the SEFF corporate beach volleyball tournament in Velden (NL). What a great way to connect beyond the office!

Everyone gave it their all, with strong teamwork, great energy, and yes, the occasional dive into the sand.🏐🙌

Activities like these strengthen cross-team connections, reveal new dynamics, and enhance collaboration back at work. Most importantly, it was a fun, energetic evening and we already look forward to the next one!

💡 Employee spotlight: Max’s journey from intern to Jr. Planner
Some connections are built to last, and Max’s story is a great example of that.

After starting out as an intern in our planning team, Max returned to Ewals Cargo Care as a Jr. Planner, where he now combines his studies with hands-on experience. “It’s a win-win - I’m learning every day while actively contributing to the operation.”

Stepping back in felt natural. Max quickly reconnected with familiar faces and built strong relationships with new colleagues. “There’s always room for a joke, but when it’s time to focus, everyone gives 100%. You can really feel that team spirit.”

What makes the difference for him? The opportunity to grow. At ECC, taking initiative and developing your skills is encouraged. Max’s journey from intern to trainee is a great example of what’s possible when talent and opportunity come together.
