Jodhpur, the city we won’t forget for several reasons. Our highlight was Mehrangarh fort, built in 1459 and one of the biggest forts in India, it’s massive! The fort was the home of different kings of the province Rajasthan. It was known for exclusive and extravagant parties. Wish we were there in the past:-)

Last week we were in Amritsar and got to know more about the Sikh belief. The values are really beautiful.We visited one of the most spiritual places of India, The Golden Temple. Known as Sri Harmandir Sahib. The Holiest shrine in Sikhism and it is one of the most sacred pilgrim spots for Sikhs. Every day volunteers work here to provide 100.000 people food and drinks. Everybody is welcome, with or without a home. We also met the family Singh in Kapurthala: Thank you so much for spending some days with us, we will never forget you!

After seeing all the decorations on the Pakistani trucks & tuktuks we felt that Ella was a bit boring. Our friend and artist Shah Khalid created some nice art for here. We asked for a Peacock and he created three. In many countries the peacock’s symbol means, beauty, dignity & wakefulness. We describe them as three flying traveling birds with the names: Morgan, Lillian & Stephen .worldofwise.com

Wagah Border crossing Pakistan-India : drove through the same gate a couple of hours before the ceremony. A weird and with a lot of testosterone spectacle from both sides. We never crossed such strange but cool and impressive border. roadtrip

Lahore is a city which has so much diversity that we cannot believe it sometimes. We are for more than one week in the city and there is much to explore. The city has 12.5 million inhabitants. It’s a crazy but also a mysterious place. We met some very nice other travellers, good times! Best city for us in Pakistan.

Sufism is a liberal stream inside the Islam believe based on spirituality and filosofie. It is also a mystic tradition inside of the Islam. On Thursday evening people join at holy shrines, were important Sufi’s are buried. There is a lot of singing and dancing. Nice and crazy evening...

On our way to Kalam we experienced a little bit of the northern area. Pakistan has 5 mountains which are higher than 8.000 meters! The nature in the North is incredible but due to wintertime we are not able to visit that part. Too much snow and too cold. The sneak preview was amazing so hopefully we will come back to explore this part of the country at the right time.

Five days on the farm of Niaz, Shujaat & Family. They're where many families living around and also many kids. Great fun for Morgan to play. We learned about the countryside of Pakistan and Swat Valley.

Pakistan –The cities Sukkur and Multan. Locals are proud to show us around. Almost no tourist around, people are really happy to see us and like to take photos and selfies with us (good preparation for India). We are getting comfortable with the Pakistani culture – people are again extremely helpful and caring.
