🦺 Safety is a team effort

When people think about construction safety, they often think about what happens on site.

But safety starts much earlier.

It starts when a project is planned. When a vertical access solution is selected. When logistical challenges are assessed. And when customers, site teams and suppliers work together to find the safest way up.

🤝 Partnership starts with understanding the challenge.

For the Bossebaan project in Veldhoven, Bouwbedrijf van Schijndel was looking for an efficient vertical access solution that would support both site logistics and the construction sequence.

The result: a twin-hoist configuration designed around the project's specific requirements, supporting efficient site logistics while allowing construction activities to continue as planned.

🤝 Partnership goes beyond the project.

Recently, we welcomed Derrick Shum from Richmond Elevator to RAXTAR HQ in the Netherlands.

During his visit, we had the opportunity to introduce him to the RX team, show him our manufacturing facility and visit two project sites to see our solutions in action.

For us, strong partnerships are built through collaboration, knowledge sharing and understanding each other's challenges.

🏗️ 20 years of passenger & material hoists

In 2006, RAXTAR installed its very first passenger and material hoist.

The project? An asphalt plant in Venlo, the Netherlands, for Heijmans and Ammann.

Looking back, this installation marked an important milestone. Not only was it our first passenger and material hoist, it was also delivered to the industrial sector, a market that remains an important part of our business today.

Those who look closely at the photo may notice the orange cross on the hoist. Back then, it was part of the RAXTAR logo and served as a recognizable symbol of Dutch engineering and manufacturing.

⛰️ Last weekend, our colleagues took part in the Multiplex Lakes Challenge in support of Building Heroes.

Over two days, participants faced challenging weather conditions, steep climbs and long distances, all in support of a fantastic cause.

Beyond the physical challenge, the event was about teamwork, perseverance and raising funds for Building Heroes, helping veterans and their families build careers in the construction industry.

Congratulations to everyone who took part, and thank you to the organisers, mountain leaders and support teams who made it possible. 👏
