Bestillingene blir levert med ettermiddagsbåten torsdag 18. juni, og vil være klare for take away på Rorbuene samme dag.

Recent catches around Sørøya show that the halibut have now fully moved into their typical summer pattern.
With rising water temperatures, many fish are shifting into shallow, sandy bays with current, plateaus and dropping edges.
Over the last few days, a large number of halibut have been caught using natural‑bait rigs, which are working very reliably at the moment.

In short:

• Short distances
• Clear structures
• Good current
• Strong chances right off the coast of Sørøya

The weekend has arrived, the weather is warm, and there’s almost no drift — so why not head out?
Time for some proper wolffish fishing.

We barely leave the fjord entrance before the action starts.
The homemade rig drops down… hits the bottom… and within three minutes the first bite comes.
The wolffish are not making us wait today.

Warm weather, calm seas, and hungry fish — that’s how we fish for wolffish around Sørøya.

Summer has finally arrived in Northern Norway, and we’re using the great weather to chase one of our absolute favorite fish:
The wolffish!
Sure, it won’t win any beauty contests… but when it comes to taste, it’s a real superstar.

Around Sørøya you can catch wolffish from March until early September – big ones, plenty of them, and all in comfortable depths that make fishing pure fun.

A little wild, a little ugly, but unbelievably delicious.
That’s Northern Norway in a nutshell.

Norbert’s crew managed to bring several amazing fish to the surface last night — and in the magical atmosphere of the Midnight Sun, it turned into an experience you simply never forget.

There’s something special about this time of year:
