Sundt Air is proud to be a Norseman Research Partner, and we are cheering for our employee and endurance athlete Henrik Schjølberg, who will represent Sundt Air at the Zalaris Norseman Xtreme Triathlon. Sundt Air strongly believe in the value of science and data in improving safety and performance and are proud to support their vital research initiatives.

Sundt Air is Norway’s leading operator of special mission aircraft, with a long-standing role in coastal surveillance and environmental monitoring. Since 2010, we have conducted airborne patrols over Norwegian territorial waters, supporting the Norwegian Coastal Administration and NOFO. Our aircraft is equipped with an advanced mission management system (Seahunter 8000) and different sensors and radar that detect oil spills, illegal fishing and maritime threats. The aircraft and crew have in this period also been engaged in Search and Rescue operations at sea. The mission often cover up to 6,000 square miles in a single day, and are critical for protecting Norway’s marine environment.

The Norseman research program shares this same commitment to precision, resilience, and safety. The extreme conditions of the race offer a rare opportunity to study human endurance and recovery in real time—knowledge that benefits not only athletes, but also professionals in demanding fields like aviation and emergency response. Sundt Air truly see the value in this research program, and we are certain that Henrik Schølberg will represent the company in the best possible way! Heia Henrik!
