We are pleased to announce a joint vessel operation between Aurora Offshore AS and Siem Offshore AS! By joining forces we are creating a substantial global Offshore Support Vessel operator with a large fleet of high end vessels providing customers with top-tier vessels for all Offshore segments.

Siem Offshore will become a shareholder in Aurora Offshore and will transfer the management of their owned fleet of 9 offshore vessels to Aurora Offshore.

Aurora Offshore CEO Steve Brackenridge commented: "This is a significant milestone in the company´s development, and is a great credit to everyone who has been involved with Aurora Offshore since it was established in 2021. We wouldn´t have been able to attract the fleet of high quality owner like Siem Offshore if it wasn't for the great dedication and professionalism of all our employees. These additional vessels will allow Aurora Offshore to enter the Subsea Market as well as enhance our current AHTS and PSV fleet"

Siem Industries Chief Operating Officer Kenneth Ross added "We are looking forward to working together with the team at Aurora Offshore, in partnership with Borealis Maritime and firmly believe in the shared vision for high quality offering"

"We are pleased to reach this agreement with Siem Offshore for the management of our respective OSV fleets. Credit goes to Aurora Offshore´s management team to have built a very professional and highly respected OSV company over the past three years", commented current shareholder Borealis Maritime Founder and Chief Executive Officer Christoph Toepfer.

The introduction of the 9 vessels to Aurora Offshore will take the overall fleet size to 28 vessels, consisting of 2x Offshore Construction Vessels, 1x Multipurpose Platform Supply Vessel, 6x Anchor Handling Vessels and 19x Platform Supply Vessels. The combined fleet will employ approximately 950 Seafarers either directly or indirectly.

On Monday, Aurora Offshore Captain Jamie Ewing and his crew onboard the Aurora Power took the opportunity to make the best out of a sunny day in Aberdeen by organizing a barbecue evening onboard!

Toward the end of completing an extensive tank clean, Captain Ewing’s initiative was a welcome gesture that, in addition to filling up hungry stomachs, also further forged important working relationships. The event was not only for the Aurora Power crew, but also for workers from other companies who contribute onboard in various roles, some who work onboard, some who have responsibilities alongside, and others who we in Aurora and others depend upon in an emergency. Guests included tank cleaning crew, scaffolders, and cargo surveyors, with representatives from Ffolkes Offshore Ltd, Swan & Co. (Marine Surveyors) Limited, TAYLORS INDUSTRIAL SERVICES LIMITED, AB SCAFF LIMITED, as well as crew from the RNLI Aberdeen Lifeboat.

All in all, the evening was a great success, where in total approximately 50 people contributed to a great evening sharing knowledge and enjoying good food. Thanks to everyone who came, and a special thanks to Captain Ewing and the Aurora Power crew for a brilliant initiative!

We are delighted to announce that Aurora Cooper and Aurora Coey has been successfully transferred to Aurora Offshore Management!

The takeover of Aurora Cooper took place in Stavanger, while Aurora Coey's takeover was carried out in Aberdeen, both processes were completed on Wednesday 19th March. The two sister ships are a fantastic addition to the growing Aurora Offshore fleet and among the most advanced PSVs in the world. Both were built in 2021 and have Duel Fuel & Battery Hybrid with 980m2 Deck Area and are currently operating in Norway and the UK, respectively.

The process leading up to the change of management has been carried out within a fairly short time frame, and would not have been successful were it not for the dedication and effort by everyone involved. Our sincere thanks to all for your contribution in this process.

A special thanks also to Harbour Energy, Vår Energi & Equinor for allowing the temporary release of the the vessels from their busy schedules to allow the vessels to complete the change of management process.

Our employees have different roles within the company, some work onboard our vessels and others have their workplace at the office. Regardless of the distance we are all part of the same team and we cooperate across departments, waters, and borders.

The result is a smooth and efficient workflow that in turn generates safe, high-quality operations, great value for our customers and a fantastic place to work for our employees!
