In the midst of installing a huge miniHUB fiber system. The system is based on a fiber ring, comprising an 8 ch. ADP (Add/Drop/Pass) system, numerous PtP signals both as single channel/fiber as well as CWDM, and maintaining uninterrupted 10GB Ethernet in the ring. In addition, flexible OB-van nodes may be connected to the fiber ring, with all the flexibility the main nodes have.

The modularity of miniHUB speaks for itself!

Our customer needed to add a couple of channels to his CWDM system.
Solution: Add a videocard in each frame with corresponding AutoSFP's, and Voila! New channels available.

Electric Friends camera robotics uses Norwia fiber optical technology

Norwia provides the robotic camera manufacturer Electric Friends with a custom-designed CWDM system for fiber optical transport of HD-SDI as well as emerging IP broadcast signals from camera and monitors. Each system is also capable of transporting legacy control signals such as TALLY, RS-422 as well as IP-based control data.

Each system is installed in the Electric Friends’ Trolley, which is the central component of an Electric Friends Trolley / Tower / Rail / Trolley Control system.
