A strong summer for The Arctic Route 🚌☀️

This summer, 4,873 tickets were sold across the Arctic Route, with encouraging growth across the network.

The Lofoten Route saw a 12% passenger growth, while our new Sommarøy route welcomed passengers for its first summer season, with 1,243 tickets sold.

And Sommarøy proved particularly popular! 55% of all tickets sold included the Tromsø ↔ Sommarøy connection.

Thank you to everyone who chose to travel with Arctic Route this summer. We hope you enjoyed the journey as much as we enjoyed having you on board! ❤️

A little taste of what’s to come in Northern Norway.. 🍂

It won’t be long before the landscapes around Tromsø begin their autumn transformation! Gold and orange, cooler days and the feeling that winter is coming.

Autumn may be brief this far north, but we think it is a beautiful time of year!

And with the darker evenings, Northern Lights season is just around the corner too. ✨

The darker nights are returning to Tromsø ✨

After weeks of bright summer nights, darkness is slowly making its way back to Northern Norway. This means Northern Lights season is getting closer 💚

Soon we'll be heading out into the Arctic night again, searching for clear skies and, hopefully, Aurora overhead.
