Fulpati is observed today as Dashain moves towards its main days.

Fulpati marks an important day in Bada Dashain, Nepal’s biggest Hindu festival.

On this day, a collection of leaves and plants... together called 'Phulpati' are brought into the home or temple.

What happens in Ghatasthapana? Across households in Nepal, families perform puja, sow seeds for Jamara, and pray for good health, happiness, and prosperity. A beautiful tradition passed down through generations.

It also marks the beginning of one of Nepal’s peak travel seasons, when travelers from around the world arrive to explore the Himalayas.
