After more than three decades of bringing colour to every sheet of handmade Lokta paper, one of THP's longest-serving artisans begins a new chapter: retirement.

She has spent 30 years mixing dye, understanding how paper responds to colour, and passing that knowledge on to those who came after her. Her hands have shaped more sheets than we can count - each one a little different, each one carrying her care.

As she steps back, we celebrate not just her craft, but the family she helped build within THP.

This year, we introduced an electric dryer to work alongside our traditional sun-drying process - not to replace it, but to keep production steady when the weather doesn't cooperate.
