February 2026 brought a truly magical Everest experience. Trekking to Everest Base Camp in winter is always special, but this journey with Mr. Robert, whom we fondly called Rob, made it even more memorable.

With the expert organization of Travel Maker South Asia and the steady leadership of our experienced guide Shankar Karki, we set off on the classic trail toward Everest Base Camp. February in the Khumbu region offers crisp mountain air, peaceful trails, and fewer crowds. This year, we were also gifted with fresh snowfall along the route, turning the entire landscape into a white Himalayan dream.

From Lukla to Namche Bazaar and beyond, the trail sparkled under a soft layer of snow. Prayer flags fluttered against a backdrop of snow-covered peaks, and the quietness of the mountains felt deeper and more powerful. Rob embraced every moment, walking steadily through the snowy paths, sharing stories, and soaking in the grandeur of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and the mighty Everest.

Reaching Everest Base Camp in winter is a different kind of achievement. The Khumbu Glacier looked even more dramatic dusted in snow, and the sense of accomplishment was stronger in the cold Himalayan air. Shankar ensured our safety and comfort throughout the journey, carefully managing acclimatization and daily plans despite the winter conditions.

February trekking to EBC offers clear morning views, peaceful tea houses, and a raw, authentic mountain atmosphere. Snow on the trail adds challenge but also unmatched beauty. Our joining group trekking journey to the Annapurna Circuit Trek began in February 2026, marking the start of an unforgettable Himalayan adventure. This was more than just a trek. It was a shared journey of cultures, landscapes, and lifelong connections.

Last autumn 2025 was truly special for all of us at Travel Maker South Asia Pvt Ltd.

Our wonderful guests from the USA and Italy joined us on the iconic Everest Base Camp with Gokyo Lakes Trek, and what followed was a journey filled with friendship, laughter, and unforgettable Himalayan moments. From the peaceful turquoise waters of Gokyo Lakes to the powerful presence of Mount Everest, every step of the trail became a shared story between our guests and our local team.

This group brought such positive energy, respect for the mountains, and genuine curiosity about Nepalese culture.
