Key Responsibilities
1. Sales:
• Identify and target potential clients in industries like import/export, manufacturing, and e-commerce.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business.
• Negotiate contracts, freight rates, and service agreements with customers.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and pricing strategies to position services effectively.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
2. Marketing:
• Develop marketing strategy to promote freight forwarding services, including sea, air, and land logistics.
3. Customer Service & Coordination:
• Address client inquiries, complaints, or delays promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
4. Reporting & Administration:
• Maintain records of client interactions, sales activities, and marketing efforts.
• Prepare weekly or monthly sales and marketing reports for management.
• Assist in budget planning for marketing campaigns and business development activities.
Required Skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding, logistics, and international shipping regulations.
• Analytical skills to assess market trends and customer needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or logistics (preferably in freight forwarding).
