Everest from the north is a different perspective on the world’s highest mountain.

Our 2027 Everest Expedition approaches the mountain from Tibet, climbing the North Col route toward the summit at 8,849 metres. The expedition passes through the high Tibetan plateau before reaching Everest Base Camp at around 5,200 metres, with the North Col at approximately 7,000 metres.

It is a demanding expedition, shaped by altitude, weather and careful acclimatisation and one that calls for thoughtful preparation long before summit day.

Everest, approached from the north.

Our 2027 expedition follows the historic Northeast Ridge route from Tibet, beginning at Everest Base Camp at around 5,200m and climbing towards the North Col at over 7,000m before continuing towards the summit at 8,848.86m.

For us, an Everest expedition is about more than the summit. It is about thoughtful preparation, acclimatization, strong Sherpa support and respecting the mountain at every stage.

Everest from the Nepal side, along the classic Southeast Ridge route. Above the South Col, the terrain becomes increasingly technical, with exposed rock, steep snow and fixed ropes guiding climbers towards the summit.

For us, an expedition is as much about careful preparation and experienced guidance as it is about the mountain itself. We plan deliberately, respect the conditions and keep the focus on a safe, well-managed ascent.

Everest. From the North.

The Tibet-side route approaches Everest across the high Tibetan plateau, leading toward the North Col and the mountain’s Northeast Ridge. It’s a demanding, less-travelled approach that offers a very different perspective of the world’s highest peak.

There’s more than one way to approach Everest.

From the Tibetan side, the journey begins across the high plateau, with the road taking you all the way to Everest Base Camp at around 5,200 metres. From there, the expedition continues towards the Advanced Base Camp, the North Col and eventually the Northeast Ridge.

The North Side has its own character. Vast Tibetan landscapes, a different perspective of the mountain, and a route that leads to the summit without crossing the Khumbu Icefall.

At 8,848.86 metres, the summit is the same. But the journey to get there tells a very different story.
