Chitwan National Park: Where Wild Wonders Await
Ever dreamed of locking eyes with a wild rhino while peacocks dance in the grass nearby? Or gliding down a river where alligators sunbathe on sandy banks? Welcome to Chitwan National Park—Nepal’s living jungle legend and a true feast for the senses!
Chitwan, meaning “Heart of the Jungle,” is a UNESCO World Heritage site and the oldest national park in Nepal. It’s a place where nature writes the rules—home to over 700 wildlife species and some of the most magical encounters.

What Makes Chitwan Special?

1. Elephant Breeding Center:
Ever seen a baby elephant play in the mud? The center here is all about conservation—protecting and raising Asian elephants. Watching the little ones tumble around is pure joy (and a reminder: always keep a respectful distance).

2. Grazing Rhinos:
The park is famous for its one-horned rhinoceros, often spotted grazing in open grasslands. You might see them from a jeep, canoe, or even on foot with a guide—each sighting feels like a small miracle.

3. Peacocks on Parade:
Early mornings and late afternoons, peacocks strut their stuff across the meadows. Their calls echo through the jungle, and if you’re lucky, you’ll catch one fanning its feathers—a true Nepalese showstopper!

4. The Rapti River & Alligators:
Glide along the Rapti River in a dugout canoe and spot gharials (fish-eating crocodiles with long, narrow snouts) and marsh mugger crocodiles basking on the banks. Keep your camera ready—these prehistoric creatures are mesmerizing.

5. Tigers—The Rarest Treasure:
Bengal tigers roam Chitwan, but sightings are rare and precious. Locals say the jungle chooses who gets to see its king. Even if you don’t spot one, just knowing they’re out there adds a thrill to every rustle in the grass.

Good to Know
- Best time to visit: October–March (cool, dry, and wildlife is easier to spot)
- Activities: Jeep safaris, jungle walks, canoe rides, birdwatching (over 500 bird species!), and village visits
- Respect the wild: Always follow local guides’ instructions—these animals are truly wild, and you’re a guest in their home
- Conservation: Chitwan is a model for sustainable tourism and anti-poaching efforts—every visit helps protect Nepal’s wildlife

Have you explored Chitwan or spotted any of its famous residents? Would you dare a jungle walk at dawn?

Cambodia has this way of holding two truths in the same palm: breathtaking beauty… and a deep, quiet history that asks you to move a little slower.
With Everest High Pass Adventures you can book your travel for a life changing experience.

We start in Siem Reap — not just to “see” Angkor, but to feel it.
- Angkor Wat at sunrise isn’t only a postcard moment. It’s an ancient, powerful presence — stone breathing in the warm air, carvings whispering stories, corridors that make you lower your voice without anyone telling you to.

- Nearby, the faces of Bayon watch you with that soft, mysterious half-smile, and Ta Prohm reminds you that nature always finds its way back in (roots wrapped around temples like time itself has hands).

Then let Cambodia widen beyond Angkor:
- A boat ride on Tonlé Sap to floating villages where life moves with the water
- Phnom Penh’s Royal Palace shimmering in gold light
- And the harder-but-important places like Tuol Sleng and the Killing Fields — not to “tick a box,” but to honor what was endured and what was rebuilt
- And when your heart needs exhale again: the slow riverside charm of Kampot, the pepper farms, and island days on Koh Rong where the sea looks like it’s been rinsed clean.

Cambodia isn’t just a destination. It’s a reminder: some places don’t entertain you — they change your pace.

We can't wait to welcome you in Cambodia!

Laos - the country feels like a deep breath in a world that’s always rushing. It’s quieter, softer — and somehow that’s exactly what makes it powerful.

1. Start in Luang Prabang, where golden temples catch the morning light and the Mekong moves like it has all the time in the world.

2. Wake up early for the calm ritual of dawn (you’ll naturally find yourself speaking more gently here), then escape to the turquoise tiers of Kuang Si Falls — the kind of water that looks almost unreal until you put your feet in it.

And then there are the little “only-in-Laos” moments:

3. A slow boat trip on the Mekong to the Pak Ou Caves, filled with thousands of Buddha figures tucked into the rock

4. Vang Vieng’s dramatic karst mountains and blue lagoons — nature showing off, quietly

5. Vientiane, with its laid-back capital energy and landmarks like Pha That Luang and Wat Si Saket

6. The mysterious Plain of Jars — one of those places that doesn’t explain itself, it just lets you wonder

7. When you’re ready to go even slower: head south to Si Phan Don (4,000 Islands), where hammocks, river sunsets, and unplanned days become the whole point.

8. Or go up into the Bolaven Plateau for waterfalls, cooler air, and coffee landscapes that feel like a different world.

Laos isn’t a place you “do” fast. It’s a place you let sink into your bones.
If you went to Laos, would you choose temple mornings in Luang Prabang or river-life in the 4,000 Islands?

Laos – the country that quietly enchants you (and then doesn’t let go)

Do you know those places that don’t fight loudly for attention… and that’s exactly why they leave such a deep impression?

In the capital of Laos, Vientiane, everything starts out wonderfully relaxed: wide boulevards, golden temples, the Mekong glowing in the evening light — and that feeling that time suddenly starts moving slower.

Then it’s on to Vang Vieng: karst mountains straight out of a movie, turquoise lagoons, little viewpoints where you reach the top and, for a moment, you’re just quietly still.

And Luang Prabang… oh. This town feels like a warm memory: French colonial houses, morning mist, monks in saffron robes, the night market, the riverbanks — and everywhere this gentle, spiritual calm that automatically softens you.

Laos is perfect if you want…
- nature that grounds you
- culture that isn’t a “show,” but real
- and a trip that feels like a deep exhale

If you want to put Laos on your wishlist for 2026/2027:

Send us a message and we’ll send you the current options + a rough route (Vientiane – Vang Vieng – Luang Prabang) tailored to your travel time.

Which of the three cities appeals to you most: Vientiane, Vang Vieng, or Luang Prabang?

What to expect on the Kailash Kora (circumambulation of Mount Kailash in Tibet) — and why it’s more than just a trek
The Kailash Kora is one of the most impressive pilgrimage and trekking routes in the Himalayas: physically demanding, visually overwhelming — and for many, deeply clarifying on the inside too.

Along the way, you can expect (among other things):

1. Local pilgrims & lived spirituality: encounters with people walking with mantras, prayers, and offerings — respectful, quiet, and deeply moving.

2. Yaks in their natural habitat: the iconic Himalayan animals, calm and powerful, often right along the trail.

3. Himalayan marmots: living wild, but often surprisingly curious and relaxed around hikers.

4. Like-minded people from all over the world: people who aren’t just collecting kilometers, but consciously challenging both body and mind.

5. Breathtaking views: high-mountain landscapes that feel like “another world” — vast, clear, unforgettable.

Ready for your Kailash Kora?

Everest High Pass Adventures supports you in planning and completing your Kailash Kora — with local expertise, realistic preparation, and an approach that puts safety and respect on the ground at the center.

Inquire now: Send us a PM or email with your preferred travel period and fitness level — and we’ll send you the next available options and steps.

Explore Tibet: If Mount Kailash is calling you, the following points are helpful to know:

1. What is the Kailash Kora?

The Kailash Kora (also called Parikrama) is the sacred circumambulation of Mount Kailash (6,638 m) in western Tibet. The mountain is not climbed. This isn’t about performance — it’s about devotion, purification, and becoming quiet within.

2. What exactly happens during the Kora?
- The full circuit is about 52 km and is usually doable in 3 days
- Our Kailash travel package includes Nepal and Tibet and lasts 12 days.
- Start and finish are in Darchen (a village at 4,575 meters altitude)
- Typical stages: Darchen → Dirapuk → over the Dolma La Pass → Zutulpuk → back to Darchen
- The highest point is the Dolma La Pass (approx. 5,630–5,648 m) — physically the most demanding part

3. Why do people do it?

Because Mount Kailash is considered extremely sacred in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Bön. Many believe that one Kora can symbolically “cleanse a lifetime.” In some traditions, 108 Koras represent final liberation/enlightenment.

4. Do you have to complete the whole route?

No. Even if you only manage part of it, the path itself is what counts — not the “perfect finish.”

Would you do a Kora — more for spirituality, out of curiosity, or a bit of both?
