Business Development & Project Development Engineer

(Electrical / Electronics Engineering Background)

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development & Project Development Engineer with an Electrical or Electronics Engineering background to lead project planning, bidding, business expansion, and implementation of the following sectors:
• Electrical & Low Voltage Systems
• Solar PV & Hybrid Energy Systems
• Smart Street Lighting & High-Mast Lighting
• Road Surveillance & CCTV Solutions
• ICT & Smart Infrastructure Projects

This is a growth-oriented role for candidates who want to work in technical + commercial development, deal with clients, prepare tenders, design solutions, and monitor project ex*****on.

Key Responsibilities
• Identify business opportunities in government and private sectors.
• Prepare EOIs, RFPs, and tender documents, including technical proposals, costing, BOQ preparation, and compliance sheets.
• Develop project concepts, drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and internal teams for project ex*****on.
• Present products and solutions to clients and stakeholders.
• Support procurement, material selection, and site supervision when required.
• Maintain records, reporting, and follow-up for ongoing and upcoming projects.

Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering (Required).
• 1–5 years of work experience in related fields (Freshers with strong skills may also apply).
• Knowledge of LV systems, solar systems, CCTV/surveillance, networking, and electrical design preferred.
• Strong skills in AutoCAD, MS Office, proposal writing, and documentation.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills.
• Strong interest in both technical and business development roles.

Requirements:
• Minimum 6 months of experience (preferred).
• Diploma or B.E. in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Electrical Engineering or currently pursuing one.
• Proficiency in handling desk work, including documentation for bidding and tender processes.
• Prior experience in construction is an advantage, but fresher are also encouraged to apply.
• Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license.

Work Schedule and Location:
• Timing: Sunday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Location: Kupondole, Lalitpur
Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit bids for tenders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
• Manage documentation related to tender submissions, including proposals and contracts.
• Implement internal marketing initiatives to boost employee engagement and brand awareness.
• Generate sales reports to monitor performance metrics and recommend improvements.
• Prepare and present quotations to clients, negotiating terms and pricing as required.
