THE FIRST MD 530N IS COMPLETE.

Mt Hutt Aviation has completed the world’s first MD 530N upgrade under MD Helicopters’ new STC approval.

Completed for Heliventures NZ, the aircraft has been upgraded to the Rolls-Royce M250-C30, along with a full airframe refurbishment, repaint and Garmin glass cockpit.

This has been a great project for our team, and we're proud to see the first one completed here in New Zealand.

A genuine thank you to Heliventures NZ for trusting us with the aircraft, MD Helicopters for the support throughout the STC upgrade process, and the team at Asia Pacific Aerospace for their help supplying the .

It’s been a great one to be part of.

Now it’s time to put the upgrade to work.
