At ACS, we not only support mushroom imports but also decided to bring a little fun in-house. Over the past month, our team members each received their own β€œmushroom spawns” to nurture and grow. The results were both impressive and creative, and we are delighted to share the winners of our Mushroom Competition:

What an incredible milestone for Aion Cargo Solutions (ACS) as we celebrate 20 amazing years in business in 2024! πŸ™‚

To mark the occasion, team members past and present came together for a day filled with fun activities, including an Amazing Race in Auckland and a festive Christmas gift raffle. The highlight of the celebration was an inspiring speech and presentation by our Founder and Managing Director, Mr. Kiyung Lee.

Mr. Lee took us on a trip down memory lane, sharing the humble beginnings of ACS back in 2004 and reflecting on the incredible achievements over the past two decades. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has contributed to making ACS a leading name in Supply Chain Management across the Asia Pacific region.

As part of the celebration, we also presented plaque of appreciation to Kay Min and Mr. Kiyung Lee for their dedication and leadership over the years. Here's to 20 years of success and many more to come! πŸ₯³

Congratulations, to the CTS crisis team (Ray Zhou, Philip Barnes, Hana Liao, Kiki, Amber, Kathlyn, and Jae) for the SEP BRAVO award for their outstanding response during the CTS crisis. πŸ₯³

What Happened?
CTS went into receivership and ceased operations overnight, creating a major disruption for ACS, as they were our main trucking supplier for Yili. This sudden situation left containers stranded in the CTS yard and required immediate backup arrangements to prevent delays and financial loss.

Result
The team swiftly organized alternative solutions, ensuring there were no shipping delays and minimal financial impact. Their quick actions and teamwork were instrumental in managing the crisis effectively and upholding our commitments to Yili.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the major holidays celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month.
In Korea, it is known as Chuseok(좔석), and in China, it is called Zhongqiu Jie(中秋節).

In Korea, it is a tradition for families to gather and visit their ancestors' graves to pay respects, and they also prepare and eat a special rice cake called songpyeon.
Meanwhile, in China, eating round-shaped mooncakes (ζœˆι€…) is a well-known custom. Families also light lanterns and enjoy time together while appreciating the full moon.

To celebrate this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival, our company has also prepared round-shaped mooncakes as a way to express our gratitude to valued people and employees.
