Been a while between posts but a small project for another local boat completed this week. Replacement packer for a lower rudder gudgeon. The old was made from timber and insufficient for its purpose and falling apart. So we manufactured a new one out of composite materials and slightly bigger to spread the load a bit better. Owner was happy with the results and completed on time so the boat keeps to its racing schedule.

Our latest job for a local boat. New rudder and shaft bearings and Propspeed (which we are an approved applicator for if you need this done please contact us) antifouling application. And investigation of slight rust weep in keel join coving no issues were found during this so was all sealed and refilled as required and boat was re launced on time. And the install of a new AIS unit. Pleased to help out Radio Active Road To NT 2025 in there preparation in the lead up to the Northern Triangle next year.

Update on the engine project engine is all back in and running just and alignment to do then some sea trials then job done. Took the chance to upgrade the raw water strainer and re paint the gearbox also while it was out. Next on the job list is a bobstay attachment for another local boat which is due for haul out Friday morning.

Current project for a local boat replacement of some broken engine mounts. With engine out can proceed with swapping them out. All the mounting bolts in the beds have snapped off also so gonna be a bit of work to rectify. Good chance to chuck the clupling on the lathe and check its square and true to the shaft prior to re alignment.

Well not much for posting on here and this is a new page so thought might aswell start somewhere. Over the last 4 months we have been proud to have helped out on a refit project of the original SR26 SR26 Rocky some of the jobs undertaken were re strength of the old mast base that was rotten and slowly collapsing under the rig loads the area is now bullet proof and good for heaps. And a full repaint of topsides and cabin top. In Durapox undercoats and Capathaine topcoats. Must say were very pleased at the end result and she looks awsome on the water. Still a few little jobs to complete but these are a secret until revealed
