Say it ain't snow... Snow has fallen in the South Island Regional Centres, meaning most courier freight has been received later than usual.
It is anticipated that business deliveries in most of these regions will be completed by midday today.

Central Otago & Queenstown - Courier & Roadreight has yet been able to reach this region.

Freight into Wellington - ROAD CLOSURE: Due to a truck with potentially hazardous chemicals having rolled on State Highway 1 just South of Pukerua Bay and blocking North and South lanes, SH1 is now closed between Paekakariki and Grays Road, Mana. Cars are being diverted over Paekakariki Hill Road but trucks are being stopped from travelling North and South.

We will keep you informed, but as of this stage please expect delays on any roadfreight into the Wellington region.

NEW SERVICES... We are proud to announce that Walker Logistics are servicing new regions throughout the North Island. This includes Hawkes Bay, Wanganui, New Plymouth, Taranaki, Wellington, Gisborne and the Wairarapa.

Brrr she's cold out there!

Please note that due to this horrible weather, there are delays into some regions. This will affect both road freight and courier shipments.

NZTA have advised the below delays

HAWKES BAY - The Napier/Taupo road closure has affected the transit time into Hawkes Bay. Courier is expected to be delivered by the end of today, however no roadfreight has made it into Napier this morning.

GISBORNE - State Highway 2 is currently open, however weather conditions are unstable. It is unsure if this road will remain open, delays expected.

KAIKOURA - No access to this region with both Highway and Inland Road closures

With road closures throughout the country, delays are also to be expected into the South Island.
