Another great day out with the Mainstream coffee cart

This time it was all about getting face-to-face with our customers and their teams , taking a break from the usual emails and calls to have some real conversations on site.

With fresh coffee, muffins and slushies on hand, it made for a great chance to connect, catch up, and spend some time with the people behind the day-to-day operations.

Getting out on site like this helps us stay connected to our customers and what matters most to them , and that’s what drives everything we do.

Service Disruption Update – Severe Weather⚠️

Severe weather conditions continue to impact both interisland services and parts of the North Island.

Ferry services remain suspended, with interisland freight affected.

New Plymouth / Taranaki
High winds mean no servicing today for Hawera, Opunake, and surrounding West Coast areas. Delays are also expected across the wider New Plymouth region.

Wellington Region
A state of emergency remains in place following significant rainfall, flooding, and damage. Conditions remain unpredictable, and delays should be expected.

We’ve put contingency plans in place to minimise disruption, including additional units, resources, and alternative routes where possible. Please note some routes may take longer than usual.

The safety of our people is our top priority — services will only operate where it is safe to do so.

We’re monitoring conditions closely and will resume normal operations as soon as it is safe. Delays are expected while recovery efforts continue.

For urgent enquiries, please contact your Account Manager or our Customer Services team.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Service Update – Interisland Ferry Disruptions

We’ve been advised of an issue with the Connemara ferry, resulting in multiple cancelled sailings while repairs are underway.

This is impacting freight movements between the North and South Islands, and may cause some delays across the network.

Our teams are actively working to manage freight and minimise disruption where possible.

We’ll continue to provide updates as more information becomes available. Thank you for your patience.

The Mainstream coffee cart was out on the road recently.

We took it along on a customer visit and put on made-to-order coffee, slushies and muffins for the team on site.

It was a great way to catch up, have a few chats and spend some time with the people we work with every day.

At Mainstream we put a big focus on our customers, and getting out to see them in person is something we really value.

Plus… free coffee never hurts.

Her next meeting at Waikaraka Park is currently scheduled for the Easter Champs on Saturday 4 April.

Spotlight on Young Racer Payton Zimmermann Browne!

We were so excited to welcome 13-year-old Payton to our Mainstream site recently! She popped in to say hi and personally thank the team for their sponsorship — and she even brought her car, Mini Blaster, along. The team loved seeing it and couldn’t hide their excitement!

Mini Blaster is Payton’s car and a special tribute to her beloved Poppa, “Master Blaster”, celebrating the love for racing they share.

🏎 Race Highlights:
• 1 Jan – Waikaraka Park: Strong results with no damage.
• Oceanview 5000: Tough track, 170+ drivers. Shone in the All-Female race, climbing 26th → 15th!

This weekend (17 Jan), Payton and Mini Blaster will be back at Waikaraka Park for the Ministock Champs. We wish her all the luck and are so proud to sponsor her , we can’t wait to cheer her on! 👏
📅 Upcoming Waikaraka Dates:
• 17 Jan – Ministock Champs
