This month, as New Zealand starts to cool down, we’re setting our sights on Vanuatu. With over 80 islands, many of which remain remote and undeveloped, there's plenty to explore.

Itineraries often start in Port Vila, then head north through places like Ambrym, the Maskelyne Islands and Espiritu Santo. The best spots don't have roads to them, so a yacht is a perfect way to uncover the best of what Vanuatu has to offer.

The dry season runs from May to October, so if a warm winter getaway has been on your radar, now's a good time to start planning.
