Like the mask of zoro occasionally needing somone new to where the mask, The Town Bike needs a new rider.
Learn how to be a bicycle courier in a 3 year old company in a dying art of a industry. Rise from the ashes being 1 of 3 remaining companies out of the 6 companies since the 80's and one of 3 riders around town. One new client a week since the competion dropped out of the market and a whole lot more to come with the closure of Queen Street, Lorne St, High St, Shortland St and Quay St.
The role is:
Owner operator/ contractor
-Running the company
-Taking calls
-Making deliveries and their deadlines
-Answering emails and online bookings
-Invoicing clients
This is ideal for either;
A young student new to the workforce wanting experience and oportunity to learn and ride the wave of a new company and it's growth.
A retired cyclist who want's to ride and share his or her business experience.
A business student for a internship.
Or anyone who is want's to free their spirit to get the bug of the coolest job in the world.
Warning not for the faint hearted, new business equals low income. Current rider is a machine and does Uber eats in conjuction in order to substain a living.
I held the torch for 2 years, then was blesssed with a Brazilian gentelman who could afford the financial risk, I then had a local bike courier ride for a few months before finally having my second Brazilian thunder for a few months who can no longer afford to hold the torch, therefore needs to pass it on. He worked for me prior at On A Mission couriers and I am hiring him back/ transfer. Him and other past riders can provide tips and references to how the business works and vouch for the potential to take full flight .
Yours sincerley, Ezra Phillips
