'Really good bikes, having driven petrol mopeds before I really appreciated having a perfectly balanced electric bike with a responsive engine that loves going up hills. Customer service was delightful and professional, really felt like making sure I had a good, safe time was the priority. I rented the bike over night and was given a fresh battery in the morning so I could carry on riding without worrying about range.'

Winding along forest roads with the wind in your hair, gliding silently under a starry night sky, chatting with friends as you cruise to beautiful white sand beaches... Motubikes is for anyone who wants to make the most of exploring one of the most beautiful and diverse landscapes in Aotearoa. The concept is centered around being a very low environmental impact business which offers a fun and exciting way to get around the island!

Our fleet consists of rugged NZ designed UBCO electric farm bikes. Their main features:


  • No pedals, no gears, no chain, no fuss - turn key and go!

  • Silent and safe - lightweight, low center of gravity, better traction offroad and on gravel through electric motors in both the front and rear wheels.
