GPS tracking and monitoring will lead to Digital IDs Digital currency 15 minute cities easily imposed congestion charges placed anywhere at anytime.
They intend to tax the mobile middle class (what's left of us) into submission and defeat.
How do they intend to implement this without committing political su***de.
They may as well pour the petrol we can no longer afford to use on themselves and light a match. As no one I've spoken to so far favours this proposal in part or entirely. All object to the monitoring side of it. We KNOW we cant trust them with that.
The karenz will say if you have nothing to hide then it shouldn't be a problem.
That's how the Hitlers of the world got their foot in the door.

This proposal opens the Digital door to the loss of our financial social and physical freedoms.

The endgame is total control a'la China with its social credit ratings and associated infringements on freedom.

Right, let's have a rant, and its gonna be a bloody good informative one so I really hope everyone reads this to the end... its gonna ramp up! I promise 😅.

So today we find out that NZers are being treated to a new country wide surveillance system, AKA: Road User charges (RUC) for all. 😀. Courtesy of our wonderful overlords.

While it may appear on that surface that this is a fairer user pays based system, I think it would be wise for folk to actually read the legislation when it comes out, and for now read the planned changes in the link I'm sharing and keep a healthy amount of suspicion and discernment in mind at all times in regards to anything coming from government about tracking and tracing anything to do with us and our private lives! Especially when there is money involved. Our money.

This is deeply concerning and is a huge leap towards a track and trace, rewards or punishment based digital society. It affects everyone that drives. You can't opt out!

My initial triggers for concern is the statements that its going digital, and that they have eRUC systems (electronic road user charges) being built for ease of COMPLIANCE and accessibility.
Also the fact that police will have the ability to enforce this digitally. And it is to be monitored in real world time.
So 1. You can't opt out and 2. WTF does digital enforcement look like? 👀 And 3. Its Real time tracking and surveillance of your car, except don't forget you're in your car with your kids, and dog, and family, and friends... so its potentially tracking all of that, under the guise of kilometers travelled.

Allegedly the plan is to have some kind of tracker put on every car, at our own expense of course, which will record our vehicles movements, resulting in the number of Km's we are to pay for. It comes with a yearly administration fee, at our expense also. It's also weight based.

So people like me who have been actively keeping two eyes fully on the state of things are generally very very wary of these incoming Digital IDs, NZ is set to adopt them later this year. The legislation is signed. The deal is done. The NZ government has a 225 page document called the "Digital Identity bill"... I read the whole thing in December of last year, and oddly enough earlier this year it disappeared, totally from public view. You literally cannot find it. 🤔

The Digital Identity Bill openly discusses the Internet of things, SMART city infrastructure, Digital ID, Digital Twins, AI companions, AI governance, 5G and more. Or at least it did before it vanished from sight.

At first digital ID will be optional, but once you opt in, you won't be able to opt out! It will be sold to you as for your convenience, so you don't have to carry an ID card around.... big win! 🙄 Instead you will have a government issued digital wallet on your SMART device (which additionally has the ability to track your location) with all your ID on it, your drivers license, your RUC tracking, your medical records, bank account and online transactions will operate through it, all your purchases, your travel and movements...
Your biometrics (iris scan, fingerprints, facial recognition, the way you walk) will "verify" who you are... so you are "safe" within a digital system run by the government, with all your personal private information at their hands, combined, in one place.

I'm going to say this in capitals... DIGITAL ID IS THE LAST HILL TO DIE ON!! EVERYONE MUST DECLINE IT! AT ALL COST!

Refusing digital ID is your last chance to retain any sort of privacy, any sort of sovereignty, any sort of personal life without total government involvement, any chance to not be under 24/7 surveillance (leading to compliance).

They... those ideological psychopaths who attend the likes of davos, and run think tanks, and buy their way Into our governments have horrendous things in mind for us, they sit up there at these ridiculous meetings eating wagyu steak, caviar, drinking the finest wines on the planet, staying in million dollar hotels, flying there on their private jets and discuss plans for the simple folk like us that just want to enjoy our lives and be left alone...

They scheme and plan things for us like carbon credit scores, carbon tracking systems, 24/7 surveillance under the skin, total monitoring of every thing we do, say, buy, even think. Yes the tech is there to predict your behaviour and with all these trillions going to AI globally, and Palintir and the Big beautiful bill, and the GENIUS act all rammed through parliament in America recently, while a week later NZ just got it's own branch of the FBI without our knowledge or consent, and has pledged to pay over 400 million of tax payers money to patent holders for AI surveillance and Stable coins alone in the next 3 years.... it's not too much of a stretch to see how tracking your car turns into full blown control of every breath you take.

This is a very dangerous, cunning, slimy underhanded banana skin to force us to slip Into digital identity without actually going as far as to issue us a digital ID.

Anyway, the rants wrapping up now... it looks like the time for rebellion is closer than I thought, the time to stand up, individually if we must but together would be better is knocking on our doorstep, and the concerning thing is... Will Kiwis comply and sign our fate? Or will we collectively show these pricks the middle finger and take back our country that our ancestors built, our country and way of life that our Grandparents fought and bled and died to protect, so that we could live In freedom and peace?

I know what my decision is... what will be yours?

PERSONAL PRIVACY ISSUES WITH PROPOSED RUC's

Almost three quarters of the entire vehicle fleet - more than 3.5 million vehicles are paying fuel excise duty and not RUCs.

However, there are challenges to upgrading the technology and concerns around the privacy implications of the data collected.

They have already caused a Cabinet paper on the issue to slip by months and Transport Minister Simeon Brown wants advice on a RUC system that will be consumer friendly.

THEY WILL NOW TRACK YOUR VEHICLES

Potential for Misuse:
Concerns have been raised about the potential for the RUC system, especially the digital aspects, to be used for purposes beyond its intended scope, such as tracking individuals or imposing travel restrictions. These concerns stem from the fact that the system involves tracking vehicle location and potentially linking it to other data, such as driver details.

If people choose to drive a 2.7 tonne behemoth that pummels road surfaces gobbles gas and damages the roads far more than a third the weight hybrid hatch that barely touches the road and has good fuel economy then you think the two should pay the same ............
