🌱🌼 HELLO SPRING!

It’s officially 1st September — we made it through winter! 🙌

The days are getting longer, the grass is growing, paddocks are starting to look a little less miserable… and hopefully we can finally stop pretending mud is a permanent feature of every farm. 😂

Spring means plenty happening on the land — new arrivals, stock moving, fresh grass and another busy season ahead. 🐄🐑🐐🌱

If spring has you buying, selling, shifting paddocks or bringing new hooves home, give us a yell. 🚛🐾

Dave: “Probably this fella…” 😂

About a year ago, after trying just about everything to convince one VERY stubborn bull that getting on the truck was a good idea, I found myself saying…

“Come on mate… Dad wants you to get on the truck.” 🤦‍♂️😂

Yep. Somewhere along the way his farmer became Dad, and I became the bloke stuck in the middle negotiating with a bull who was very clearly asking himself…

🐃 THROWBACK THURSDAY — WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE

Every now and then this job throws us an opportunity that's a little outside the ordinary…

And when water buffalo are waiting at the gate, you don't exactly forget it in a hurry. 😂

One of the best things about what we do is the places we get to go, the people we meet and the incredible variety of animals we get the opportunity to work with along the way.

Some jobs are just jobs.

Others become bloody good memories. ❤️🚛

And this was definitely one for the memory bank.

Because you never know what opportunity is going to come through the gate next…

Quite literally in Dave's case. 🐃😂

🔧🚛 WORKSHOP WEDNESDAY — RAMP UPDATE

When Dave hasn’t been out on the road lately, he’s been busy working away in the workshop — and the new portable loading ramp & yard setup is really starting to take shape! 👀

There’s still a bit of fabricating, fitting and finishing to go, but she’s come a fair way since the first pieces of steel hit the workshop floor.

Once finished, the setup will give us another practical option for properties without permanent loading facilities — making those trickier paddock-to-paddock jobs a whole lot more manageable.

Because apparently driving livestock around the country isn’t enough to keep Dave occupied… 😂🔧

Still a work in progress, but she’s getting there!
