We’re Hiring: Part-Time Executive assistant/Right-Hand Person, Rangiora
Hotshot is growing. Behind the towing and transport, we’re building out a few new ventures too, and there’s more on than one person can stay on top of.
So we’re after one organised, detail-driven local person to be the owner’s right hand. A few hours a week to start, flexible around your life, with room to grow as things build.
This is you if
- You get a quiet satisfaction from closing things off and clearing a list
- You chase until you get an answer, not just until you’ve sent the email
- You notice the detail other people miss
- You can’t stand a job left half done
- You like things tidy, tracked, and nothing left hanging

The work
A mix of desk and on-the-ground.
Desk side:
- Chasing suppliers and following up emails and messages until they’re sorted
- Listing and managing items on Facebook Marketplace and Trademe
- Keeping projects and to-do lists on track and up to date
- General admin and organising
On-the-ground side:
- The odd local drop-off, pickup, or errand
- Helping set up product displays
- Whatever hands-on bits come up week to week
What you need
- Live in or near Rangiora
- Own car and a full licence
- Able to work on your own without being chased
- Comfortable following people up and getting answers out of them
- Happy juggling a few different things at once
No towing or industry experience needed. We’ll show you what needs doing. We need someone reliable who finishes what they start and thinks a step ahead.
The details
- A few hours a week to start, growing over time
- Flexible hours, work around your schedule
- $30 to $35 an hour depending on experience
- Contractor basis, so you invoice us
- Based around Rangiora and North Canterbury
