The scattered status of our equipment comes after 3yrs of active campaign by Christchurch Botanic Gardens Rangers, Red-Zone Crown land manager B. Winder, Police, Ngai Tahu manager and Golden Bay police and Nelson Courts, all effectively forcing me from my work and private contracting capacity - terrorising my friends minds in the process.

Display here of our equipment availability does not invite govt agency actors to preside over, scoff at, nor accept transparency as gift to interfere more on Airborn Paddling 's value proposition for Aotearoa's Polynesian paddling culture.

Nor does our illustrating our equipment transparently give any courts or police
License to presume to lock me up for using a car to transport equipment (forcing false belief/programmed job validation over feduciary limitations - Takaka Police - till August 2025).

The stocktake was emailed to friends in adventure racing circles who're proving too scared to utilize Airborn Paddling's gear, not wanting the "bad press". Fear is ruling the roost for these old quality friends whom still sit-to-paddle.

Private contracting is our path to accepting we are all natives here, not awaiting approval from ANY collectivist corp servant for a native body's engine to travel, with or without wheels.

Based originally from shining Diamond Harbour - the flat water surface (Te Waipapa) - we coordinated paddle-board trips through the City 2020-2022.
Our aim is to assist people to get buoyant on the water.

Clarification:

Rental of Airborn equipment is typically bare craft/waka rental only.
Transport solution of softly inflated waka/craft is offered to cyclists specially. DM for details.

Further:
Pumps are not guaranteed. BYO PUMP!

Airborn Paddling helps customers engage intimately with air pump, referring sellers and reviewers.

Personal PUMPs be a LIFELINE for getting home when craft leak (damaged during use).

Slow leaks are no cause for panic, when you HAVE a PUMP!

Sophisticated waka/craft have breather valves, audibly releasing air when sun heats (air in) the tubes. Not all tubes use these valves, so:

Paddlers MUST RELEASE AIR when taking waka from cool waters onto land, for exploring an island/beach!

Sun is harsh on Aotearoa. Take care of yourself and equipment, so we all stay in great shape outdoors! SAY NO to BLOWOUTS and BEER-GUTs!

We manage boat leaks THANKS TO customer feedback!
REGULAR FEEDBACK will result in CHEAPER rental prices!!
Especially for SELF REPAIRERS, whom seal leaks.
SILENCE, (following damage to waka) WILL INCREASE PRICE to people present that day.

We suggest Personal propulsion equipment (extra to arms and legs) and bouyancy clothing be decided by thoughtful minds (prior/as desired).
How big are your hands? What shaft WILL suits those fingers? Do we want to:

a) Swim with a waka (WETSUIT) or
b) Stand Up Paddle in ARMANI suits, Jimmy Bee "hori" shoes staying dry?

Our history of self-reliance on land and water comes from tramping. Crossing swift white water/rocky rivers for kicks, with loaded bouyant backpack as waka!
Hands and legs DO WORK.

We love to SUP-surf short lengths of speedy river. No paddle-shaft, no shoulder damage = safer!

Learning about this new terrain, new activity?

Beware of competent paddlers who never fall in! Competent paddlers sometimes avoid critiquing DIFFICULTIES CAUSED by equipment.
