🚚 Care 4 Movers – Casual Offsider Wanted
Hi Dunedin! We’re a family-owned furniture moving company based in Kaikorai Valley. We do local house moves, plus work across the South Island, including intercity moves, student moves, and jobs working alongside local staging companies and storage companies.
🏠 What we do:
• Local house moves
• Intercity moves around the South Island
• Working with local staging companies
• Student moves (seasonal/busy times)
• Working alongside local storage companies
⭐ Who we’re looking for (most important)
• Respect for people’s belongings
(careful and professional handling)
• Professional presentation
• Good communication
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Positive attitude — we get the job done right and still have a laugh while doing it
✅ Requirements:
• Own transport to meet at our yard in Kaikorai Valley every day
• Able to handle heavy lifting
• Furniture moving experience is preferred, or a background in manual labour with a willingness to learn the ropes.
• Class 2 truck licence is a bonus
If you don’t have it, we can help assist with the pathway for the right person if you want to become a driver.
• Must pass Drug test & background check at our discretion
🕒 Hours & pay
• Casual hours to start
• Potential to lead to full-time for the right candidate as we move into busy season
• Pay above industry standard
