Unit 1 (Budget)
We made it to Auckland last night. Today we had 4 pick ups to do, doesn't seem like a lot but still took us the whole day. Now we are parked up in Hamilton for the night and tomorrow we are making the run down to Wellington to hopefully catch the ferry if Bluebridge have the space if not will be Tuesday.

Unit 2 (MYBAD)
So after Garth made a mistake when booking. We organized a second unit to run up, the boys have arrived in Picton tonight to sail at 2am then they head straight to Hastings to drop off the log splitter and do a couple pick ups and head back to Wellington.

This being the first run using 2 units took a bit of planning (a few mistakes too) but we are all going alright so far. At this stage might need to convince someone to do all our bookings and admin 😅

Thanks to everyone behind the scenes who have helped in the last couple weeks much appreciated, we can only go up from here 🤞

Parked up at Riverlands again for the night, head to Nelson tomorrow morning and get the ferry tomorrow and then straight up to Palmerston North to unload the household in the van. The purple gem on the trailer is heading to Auckland. The Toyota is doing well, dear I say it more comfortable than the Transit. But so far a rough start to the trip but we are getting there slowly and that's what counts

Well what a crap week we have had, did a private job the other day and when we got home the van we have named Snr has developed a nasty nock. So we pulled the front apart to have a decent look at what could be the issue and from advice from some experts we have come to the conclusion that the diesel pump has given up. So we put Snr on the back burner for now and hired a van from Avis Rentals in Chch, and dam she's flash 2021 Toyota Hiace.

But to top it all off Jr was getting the window replaced and they found rust around the window nothing to major at the moment but will need to be addressed soon though.

And that's why we have been a bit quiet lately, we have all been stressed to the max but now we are back on top of it and ready for our next trip on Thursday

We went to the final practice at Woodford Glen today to watch some of the cars we Suport/Follow have a play as we will be in the north island come opening night.

And a fantastic job they did so proud of the teams and drivers out there

47c Bro Town Boston making his debut season at the glen got the hang of it quickly

194c Jamie Malloch had the car running really nice doing some pretty good times around the track

84c Addi Gardner her first season in Ministocks and is flying, going to be getting flags in no time

48c Stan Mckenzie we only seen one of his races but seemed to be going alright out there

The team are at Ashburton Speedway today for there Opening meeting and memorial champs. We are here all day and Tees Transport are putting a free BBQ on at the club rooms after meeting for Drivers, Staff and Public. Come down and say hi and get a sausage.

Staying in Fielding tonight in the Raceway Motel. Watching the game in front of the fake fire 🔥. Of to Stratford tomorrow then slowly head down to Wellington for a 2am sailing Monday morning. Definitely booked a cabin for the trip over on Bluebridge

Parked up in Drury for the night great wee spot. Great wee motel and a bar & restaurant across the road, what more can you ask for (with the size of the meals a taxi across the road 😀). Route sorted for tomorrow with pick ups in Auckland, got to start mentally preparing now to brave the traffic
