Hi to all reading this post. Glanavon iris patch is now closed for good. Body not able to take the work load any more. Irises are going to a great home which I am soooooo grateful for. I intend to still be involved with irises and iris society as I have made some fabulous friends along the way. 1988 I started so I think I done well. Thanks to all customers I met along the way. Here we are again.
Not many flowers yet here. Have only a couple of standard dwarf at this time.
Visitors welcome from mid October onwards. Chance your timing around sat. Afternoons. All day Sunday,and Monday, and Tuesday mornings. Otherwise a phone call prior and I will see what i can do. Cheers.

Here we are in September and very wet and very soggy grounds. Yes the irises are taking off but no flowers yet. We are going to be in Napier in McLean park for the annual Home and Garden Show. Heaps of bearded irises there for sale over Friday,Saturday and Sunday. All will have photos for your veiwing pleasure. Love to see you there.

Here we are again. Wet wet conditions. Trying to replant into new area but!!!!. Working through the standard dwarf and intermediates which are planted in tractor tyres and calf feeding troughs on my lawn. Certainly dryer conditions but cooch and that lovely maroon coloured creeping clover looking w**d keeps arguing with us. What we have done looking great. Need to purchase more potting mix and slow release manure to add into tyres.Selection of intermediate iris photos.

Another season has rolled on by. Grateful thanks for all the fabulous orders and plants that went all over New Zealand. Plans for a complete replant are still a work in progress. My helping hands are soooo busy at this time but we will make it. Once rows are arranged we will be into it. Couch is taking over in blocks at present and is very hard work.

Wow. What a hot humid season we are having at this time. Starting to process iris orders. Projects have got a little[ a lot] away on us following the constant wet weather up to and through Xmas up to new year. Also I had shoulder replacement,reconstruction 19th. December so am on go slow but with help from family and friends I am sure we will be rolling along nicely. You can also look at website for more information.
