Just an update on regularly asked questions:

🤔(Are you still supplying firewood)
Yes we still have firewood available 😊

🤔(is there a delivery charge?)
Not within city limits 😊 but we do deliver as far as Wairoa, Mahia, Tiniroto, Tolaga Bay, TK to name a few and are happy to discuss that privately for those that wish to order from out side of the city limits.

🤔(can we drop off a trailer or come pick up our wood?)
Yes we can accommodate for that, but you will be asked to wait at the gate to ensure all machines are off for both your and our safety)😊

🤔(how long is the wait?)
Between 2-4 weeks but we ask that you check your messages as if customers do not respond we will automatically move to the next person inline.☺️

=to try and speed things along for everyone’s sake=

(Note - you do not come out of the line, we just keep
rotating through the line in order)😊

🤔(how long has the wood been down and is it burnable this year?)
Pine (2-3 yrs) - Regular Burn
Poplar (3-4 yrs) - Fast Burn
Mac (4-5 yrs) - Slow Burn
Gum (1 -2 yrs) - Slow Burn
It may be delivered (rain wet)

🤔(what is dose Rain wet mean?)
- we can’t cover your firewood from our yard to your house in the rain sorry 🙏
- We are still cutting and splitting firewood on cold rainy days.
- Yes the out side of the log maybe RAINWET but the centre is dry.

(I have personally dropped 2 cube of pine into a muddy puddle (60cm deep) and had to shift it over a full week of rain into our shed and within 3 days I was burning it in my fireplace🤦‍♀️ what happens when I messed up an order 😅) HARD LESSON LEARNT 🤣🤣🤣

We keep all our wood in log 🪵 form to TRY and prevent it from wood rot. Then cut and split it as we go to try to keep the quality of firewood at it’s best condition on arrival 😊

🤔(What do you have in stock?)

Currently in stock

PINE $80 per cube

POPLAR $60 per cube

GUM $150 per cube (moisture reading 13-30%)

MAC $120 per cube (not taking any more orders until those that have preordered have been delivered too)

😊OUR PRICES DO NOT CHANGE ALL YEAR ROUND.😊
Just the wait time on delivery

🤔( what do you recommend?)
Call me bias… I’ve been carting pine for over 10 yrs. And love the smell of freshly cut in the bush, to being split and even burning it.😀
But it’s nice to get a mix every now and again.
Pine to heat up and keep your house toasty warm and a hard wood to throw on last thing to keep it ticking over night. 😊 but we personally burn all the ugly wood anyway.😁

Kind Regards
