You may notice a new look when you receive your firewood this year. We thought we’d smarten our delivery truck up with a fresh coat of paint. Gave our Spray-painter the colour’s and freedom to add his own flair.

Services Provided

$80 cubic meter - delivered within City limits
- anything outside of the City limits, the price will be provided on order

we also CUT to order enabling you to decide the length you'd like
your wood to be cut.

ensample : most fireplaces are 300ml
but we already have a few customers that ask to have
their loads cut at 400 ml - 450ml for the longer firebox,
and 250ml for the wetbacks.

we also encourage those that drop of trailers to bring out anything to take FREE chip wood that comes off the machine to help start your fire.

we also encourage those that want FREE saw dust for chicken coops, gardens, pig beds and any other uses.

NOTE: All pickup and drop-offs will be timed to ensure all machinery is NOT working in a safe manner. FULL Security Cameras and Fur Babies are fully functional.

Welcome to Gisborne FireWood Ltd.

A little bit about us.

We are a small family-owned business that works within the Tairawhiti Forestry Community. But through Gabriala we had local residents approach us looking for firewood.
The horror stories truly saddening us to the point we knew we had to help or at least try.
We had the logs and thankfully friends supplying the manpower and equipment to help those that came to us in need. And with those same friends encouraging us to open up a full-time service to the local Gisborne Community.

We have three small boys and in keeping those old-school morals and values alive is a big thing to us. No child should be cold.
And after 18months of not being able to live in our own flooded home, we fully understand the meaning home is where the heart is.
