🚨MEET THE TEAM 🚨
- Reinhardt (Ray for short), truck operator 🪝

1️⃣ Ray couldn’t decide one his favourite part of the day, instead saying “towing is his passion”. Must love every part equally 🤷‍♀️

2️⃣ One thing he wishes all drivers would do is “just obey the road rules, they are there for a reason”.

3️⃣ Ray thinks what sets Williams apart is how we make you feel welcome, whilst staying professional.

➡️ “McDonalds or KFC” 🍗🍔

5️⃣ A skill this job has taught him is you’re never too old to learn something new.

6️⃣ Early start or late finish?
➡️ “Early start”

7️⃣ Music, podcasts or silence while driving?
➡️ “Soft music”

8️⃣ Fav car brand?
➡️ “TOYOTA HILUX all the way!”

9️⃣ Classic, JDM, Muscle, Euro or Modern?

Welcome to the team Robert! 🇿🇦➡️🇳🇿🥝

Last week we welcomed our newest (and youngest) team member Robert (Robby) to the Williams Salvage whānau all the way from South Africa!

Roberts keen as to get stuck into the job and soak up some good old kiwi culture along the way. Give him a wave if you see him out and about in the trucks 👋

Friendly reminder to always check for rodent tampering 🐀 and birds nests 🪺 especially while it’s cold in winter 🥶

👋🫏 Goodbye Donkey 🫏👋

Last week was Donkeys (Jason) final week so his last day at the yard we fired up the BBQ, had some great snags, some yummy cake and said goodbye (special handshakes included). We definitely saw some tears as he read his card 🥹

We wish you all the best in your new chapter and hope slowing down serves you well in your pre-retirement ⛽️🚙

Thanks team for your help with the bbq and cake 🍰 🍗

Great team effort!

This week we recovered a bus that had broken down on the Coromandel. Stoked to work alongside the crew at Williams Salvage Limited to get it loaded and away safely.

Cheers to Go Bus New Zealand for the call - always good to help out.

We're here when you need us.
