Over 40 participants and support crew gathered at Tristram Marine last Friday for ‘Boating Basics for Women’ — an evening of learning, conversation and connection with Wild Chix NZ.

A huge thank you to Isabell Zitzelsberger and the Wild Chix crew for an outstanding evening — and to everyone who came ready to learn and get involved.

From staying safe on the water and understanding navigation and weather, to boat preparation and handling, the evening was packed with practical knowledge designed to help women feel more capable and confident on the water.

Questions were asked. Knowledge was shared. Confidence grew. And that’s exactly what the night was about.

Here’s to feeling just as comfortable at the helm as anywhere else on board!

Powered by a Yamaha 450hp 5.6L V8 with Helm Master® EX, WHITE NOISE features an extensive onboard specification including Simrad Komodo electronics, FLIR thermal imaging, diesel heating, hot water, enclosed wheelhouse canvas and clears, and a comprehensive fishing setup.

Finished in our APEX specification, bespoke upholstery, flooring, steering wheel, rocket launcher, lighting and detailing throughout give WHITE NOISE her distinctive character.

Behind every great family business are great people. Today, we’re celebrating one of ours.

Happy 40th Birthday to Tristram Fink!

For many years, Tris has been one of the driving forces behind Tristram Marine. While much of his work happens behind the scenes, his contribution is seen throughout every part of the business. From marketing and accounting to developing new systems and continually improving the ownership experience, he has helped modernise the family business and guide it into its next chapter.

His passion for innovation, attention to detail and commitment to doing things better have played a significant part in making Tristram Marine the brand it is today. Beyond our own business, his recent appointment to the NZ Marine Industry Association Board reflects his passion for helping strengthen and grow New Zealand’s marine industry as a whole.

While we’re incredibly proud of everything he’s achieved professionally, those who know Tris best know that his greatest pride is his family. He’s a devoted husband and an amazing dad.

As we celebrate Tris’ milestone, it also reminds us that another special milestone is just around the corner. In less than a year, Tristram Marine will celebrate 40 years of putting families on the water.

We’ll be sharing more about our 40th anniversary celebrations over the months ahead, with some exciting announcements to come.

But today, it’s all about Tris!
