VT840

A directional lug tread developed for tough operating conditions on all types of off-road terrain. The VT840 delivers strong traction, stability, and reliable performance across challenging agricultural and industrial terrains - especially suited doe ground spreader trucks.

Its block design supports excellent grip in extreme driving conditions, while the groove layout helps the tread self-clean during use. Reinforced ties between the blocks provide greater balance and stability, helping improve safety, productivity, and operational efficiency throughout the tyre’s service life. A self cleaning pattern with cut / chip resistant compound.

Available now in 245 wide and 22mm deep tread.

NZ needs to wake up to the global momentum behind tyre retreading and get on board now !!

We’re seeing real policy momentum in the US, Europe and the UK to incentivise tyre retreading for environmental, economic and supply-chain reasons. New Zealand should be in the game too — we can’t afford to fall behind.
The world is already shifting: in the U.S., fleets could soon get a 30% credit for retread use. In the EU, retreads are now officially sustainable under taxonomy rules. In the UK, public sector mandates are being pushed hard. Meanwhile, in NZ, the conversation is barely had.
If NZ doesn’t act, we risk losing in climate, in jobs, in circular economy gains, and in transport cost competitiveness.
