Bare ground is at its most vulnerable right before spring rain - once it washes out, it's a much bigger job to fix. Hydroseeding gets seed, mulch and fertiliser down fast, holding the ground together while it germinates, even on steep slopes or uneven terrain that's hard to plant by hand.

If you've got a site that needs covering before the weather turns, get in early rather than racing a storm. Full guide on our website, or call the team in Hastings or Napier for advice.

Got the right machine but still not getting a clean result? Technique makes the difference too. Layer your material rather than compacting it all in one go, keep moisture in check, and don't over-compact - it can damage the surface just as much as under-compacting.

Want a hand matching machine weight to your job? Give us a call.

Both compact, but they’re built for different jobs. How each one works and how to pick the right machine for your surface.

The Master Hydro Seeder sprays seed, mulch and fertiliser onto the ground in a single pass. One 2000-litre tank covers around 400m², with dual nozzle options to suit different sites, and it's trailer-mounted so it tows behind a standard ute or truck.
