🚐🐾 17th–23rd OCTOBER PET TRIP – DAY ONE! 🐾🚐

Well, day one is nearly over and we’ve already managed to fill one whole unit! 🤪🐶

And the fun is only just beginning!

🐐 Tomorrow we have lots of bottle baby kids coming on board, so there’ll be plenty of milk bottles, hungry little mouths and probably a bit of mischief! 🍼😂

🐶 We’ve got lots of litters of gorgeous puppies and stud dogs travelling all over NZ.

🐗 The hunting dogs are still on the move, even with the weather warming up around the country!

🐑 And with lambing season coming to an end, our hardworking farm dogs are heading home after putting in the extra hours helping out on farms around NZ.

☀️ The weather is finally warming up, and we’re looking forward to some lovely spring travelling conditions!

It’s shaping up to be another very busy trip with a fantastic variety of passengers on board.

One day down, plenty of kilometres, cuddles and chaos still to come! 🤣🐾

🐾🚐 17th–23rd OCTOBER PET TRIP! 🚐🐾

☀️❄️🌧️ Welcome to spring in New Zealand… where you pack for all four seasons in one day! 😂

Earlier this week we were getting all excited over a beautiful 26°C day ☀️ Thinking summer was finally on its way!

Fast forward to today… we’ve got HAIL! 🧊 Parts of the South Island have SNOW ❄️ and the North Island is dealing with FLOODING! 🌧️

At this rate, who knows what Mother Nature will throw at us tomorrow! 🤣

🐾🚐 26th SEPTEMBER – 2nd OCTOBER PET TRIP 🚐🐾

✅ North Island heading South — DONE!
📍 Currently in Blenheim, with the crew heading south towards Invercargill tomorrow!

Well… what a start to the trip 😂

The North Island decided to give us four seasons in one day 🌧️☀️💨🥶 and then daylight saving kicked in on DAY ONE and casually stole an hour of sleep from everyone. Because apparently pet transport wasn’t tiring enough already 🤣

A slight shuffle of the schedule and we were back on track!

🌟 Steve has been an absolute gem this trip, taking charge of the van and doing a wonderful job. We’re very lucky to have him back helping out while I’m finally home recovering.

We made the decision to run just one unit through the South Island this trip. With me unable to jump in and help much at the moment, there’s a lot of pressure on the team — but they’re absolutely smashing it. 💪🐾

And apparently someone put out a nationwide memo saying:

“SEND ALL THE PUPPIES!” 😂🐶🐶🐶

We are FULL of puppies — every breed, shape, size and level of mischief imaginable!

Then we’ve got plenty of rats and mice hitching a ride 🐀🐭 and judging by the number of little mouths needing bottles…

🍼🐐 IT MUST BE KIDDING SEASON! 🐐🍼

We’ve got heaps of kids onboard to bottle feed, so between driving, feeding puppies and making bottles, the team may come home answering to Mum 🤣

Next stop… down the South Island we go! 🚐💨

We’re busy setting the schedule for our next nationwide pet trip!

⚠️ A little heads-up — things will run a bit differently this trip.

Some of our usual days and times may change, so please make sure you read your meet-point text carefully when it arrives. If you need to, pop an alarm or reminder in your phone so you don’t miss us! ⏰📱

Due to the reduced route this trip, some areas will not be available, including Tarras, Cromwell, Queenstown and Winton, along with a few other locations.

❤️ We also have a familiar face joining the team!

Steve is back to help drive some of our routes. Some of you may remember this lovely man from a few years ago when I was out of action.

He is absolutely amazing with the pets, and we’re very happy to have him back helping keep the wheels turning while I recover. 🐶🐱🐰🐔
